um don't listen to Naruto. Lynx are not half domestic. These cats do not make good pets. They are not domestic and have all of their wild instincts fully intact. They destroy furniture, bite and scratch and spray the house with urine. Don't encourage captive breeding of these animals. Most are not properly taken care of in captivity and aren't able to roam as they would in the wild or exercise their instincts. It's usually a poor quality of life for them.

Comparing human behaviour with animal behaviour doesn't make sense. Humans are sentient creatures and self-aware, they are not.

Psychologically we are so far removed from them, we are practically alien. That is why I dislike the disney-fication of animals, anthropomorphising them into something they're not.

I'm not saying animals aren't violent, far from it, they can be extremely aggressive. However they do things for a reason.

In the male bears case he's doing what it takes to pass on his genes. Killing the cub will bring the female into season and thus give him a chance to father the next generation. However repulsive the act, there is still a reason behind it. The male bear is simply driven by instinct. Animals are incapable of objectively judging what they are doing is right or wrong.
