  • digite gift antes de youtube.com

  • My hope is that one day video arcades that were a combination of gaming arcade and discoteque will finally make a comeback!

  • that is so cool!

  • you know how when you enter or exit a game your computer plays the windows error sound, if you go to the control panel you can turn that sound off or change it to something cool.

  • can you give me the site you got it off ??

  • does the cabinet come with all the games like this already or do you have to download them

  • mine came with them.

  • um, is there anyway someone can send me detailed instructions on exactly how to do that?

I wana have one of these in my home.

    please message me :)

  • use this search string in google:

    arcade cabinet wiki

the wiki has a lot of good links

  • I want to make a mala front end for all my emulators. (snes-megadrive etc) is it hard to do?

    any websites. cheers

  • You should use one of the popular front ends like MALA, mamewah, or maximus.

  • could i ask you for a copy of your mala hardrive for a fee? There seems to be a lot of dos coding involved and my knowledge is just "slightly" under what is needed to pull this off.

  • I only modified the default MALA template just ever so slightly. What part of the setup are you having problems with? folks over at arcadecontrols dot com helped me fix a lot of the issues.

  • dude, tbh i've been trolling around but when I saw this video, this is quite good what you're doing.

  • So, is this a cabnet with emulators and ROM's. Is it as simple as it may sound? And what would one cost me, pre-loaded with all of this.

  • The biggest expense is the monitor. A 27" arcade monitor new would run you around US$500. The controls are relatively cheap. Joysticks and trackballs are around $30-$40. Buttons are $1.50 each. For the PC, you can use any Pentium 3 or above to run most MAME games at full speed.

  • i hope you make your friends pay a quarter for every game they want to play

  • Heh. I recently bought antoher cabinet after selling this one. It's got 4 players worth of controls plus a trackball, spinner, and a 4-way joystick. I'll try to post a video of it in a couple of weeks. But the guy that sold it to me said that when he'd have ppl over for parties, inevitably there'd be quarters in the tray even though it was set for free play.

  • I've finally posted a video of the new cabinet. Search for "Arcade / MAME cabinet with 4 player controls" under amiga2000.

  • Sweet - looks cool

  • very nice, wonder if it is possible to convert the 2600 paddles to play games like kaboom, warlords, breakout, etc.

  • Yes, there are people that have done this. Although spinners / paddles are relatively cheap to buy and install.

  • Thanks for posting this question. I've since traded up this cabinet with another one that has a spinner using regular mouse drivers (x-axis only).

My question is if anyone's successfully used their mouse/spinner with Stella. I tried but couldn't find it in the menu. If anyone can point me to the docs or a URL, i'd appreciate it.
