  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! & I LOVE YOU HOOVER..GOD BLESS YOU!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • 6 dislikes....are you kidding me.

  • Cynthia is one of the most beautiful people in Gospel music. I don't think it is just her voice, which is unique; I think it's her soul, the glory of her beautiful soul shines through. There are many women in this world who have more spectacular voices, but none I've ever known who could outshine her beautiful spirit. Thank you for posting this lovely video of a lovely lady.

  • I feel so much better when I hea this Gods Guift of a great lady. Joe Oliver', Sweetwater Tx

  • Thank you Cynthia for reminding us so beautifully of how much our Savior has done and will continue to do for us as we "turn our eyes upon Him".

  • Thank you for posting and thank you Cynthia . I think all believers appreciate these lyrics.

  • Yes. Hallelujah! I have fixed my gaze on HIM since I was 16! O I want to see HIM as He is when He appears! Thanks Cynthia!

  • This was one of my Grandma Belle's favourite songs. I never got to meet her as she passed away when she was only 49. It was, according to my dad, the last words heard coming from her when she passed on one hot summer day. Listen in if you like, and you'll hear her echo for sure - it is up to you !

  • I had the priviledge of singing in the choir at Riverside Baptist Church in Denver, CO many times at Christmas when Cynthia would come to our church to perform in the annual Christmas program. It was amazing to see & hear her perform to perfection so many beautiful old hymns and Christmas songs. I'm still a huge fan. Her voice has deepened considerably over the years but it's still just amazing!!

  • Wow!! Powerful

  • amazing

  • I saw Cynthia sing this at the 1986 Labor Day Singles Retreat at Ridgecrest, NC. Absolutely awesome. I hope the angels in heaven sound like her!

  • imthedestroyerofworlds is the destroyer of nothing. You can only do what God allows you to do. Btw...he loves you.

  • This is to IMDESTROYEROFWORLDS, you ask why we believe in God. I was raised a Baptist, because my Mom loved me enough to take me to Church at a very young age, I believe because I have been blessed in so many different ways over my 56 years and I know it's from God, and only GOD. I have to ask, why you don't believe in Him? Since you use lower case when you typed His name. Read a Bible, and I will pray for you. God is real, can be confusing at times but HE is REAL.

  • For months, I sang this as my prayer for my unsaved dying mother.

We quietly sang it by her bed as she slipped away, one of the last sounds she heard.

  • @houseguy4 That's truly beautiful, she will be among the glorious ones now

  • Hi Cynthia I'm gonna try to get Bro. Tom to come over and listen to his beautiful gal sign on the Site.. I do not beleive he has U Tube and I know he'll appreciate it.. I've got to take a couple of cook books back to him anyway.. Stay beautiful as you are. God bless James G

  • This is truly beautiful. I teach 7th and 8th graders who often challenge what I am trying to do in the class room. This song is a wonderful reminder for me. Thanks!!

  • If the angels in Heaven sing any prettier than this we will sit at His feet in rapture for millenniums to come.

  • So can anyone tell me exactly why you believe in god?

  • because of an empty tomb.

  • MY MY MY!!!!

  • This is one of my favorite songs and I don't think anyone could do it better than Cynthia!

  • i loved this song when i hear it i begin to cry it touches in the deep inside heart

  • I would like this song anyway, but I do especially because it was the song sung during the invitation the night I trusted Jesus, March 31, 1982, at the First Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas.

  • Awe!

    Very inspiring.

  • Some houses are built to sell, not to live in.

Same goes for most of contemporary music. But

when you hear a song sung like this, then you know it was built or written to last forever. Thanks for touching me at the core of my heart with this song. I'm sure that God approves this one. And i believe that Cynthia is after Gods own heart, too. Thanks for using your voice for him and not the world.

  • Cynthia, you sing this so beautifully. Yes, Jesus is the one to whom we turn our eyes. He is indeed wonderful!

  • heavenly voice!

    thank you for posting

  • She has perfect pitch. Very rare and very beautiful.

  • Hallelujah!Wow! What a wonderful rendition! I cried with this song since the first time I heard this many years back! May sinners see their needs with this gospel song and Christians to serve GOD more till He comes...Thanks for posting.

  • Beautiful angel.

  • Traditional Christian music is beautiful. Contemporary Christian music is not. It is as simple as that. Our local Christian radio station changed it's format to contemporary rock Christian music. I unprogramed it from my car radio. Oh, and I'm not even a believer...I just like the music.

  • This is so beautiful ! God Bless You .

  • Dear Lord, I don't know whether to cry or shout! Thank you hoover for this wonderful song. I use this all the time in devotional and just sing it to praise Our Saviour. Oh how I love that Man of Galilee, He means so very much to me...
