I totally agree and support, keep your tools with you! Keep extras everywhere so no excuses! I'm a cuticle biter so I keep cuticle trimmers on hand as well. I also keep mini lotions on hand. The act of rubbing the lotion in is also stimulating the blood flow in your finger tips which is good for your nails, and if you're a biter and are tempted, lotion taste like crap. My other biggest tip is paint your nails really cute. I painted little strawberry's on my nails, way too cute to bite.

I have the same habit as you used to have, like when I'm nervous or have a lot in school and stuff I tear my nails and kinda tear of the nail polish if I get a crack in the polish or something. But the last two summers I've succeeded to stop and my nails have grown quite long but then when I start school again I kinda go back to the bad habit... =/ But thanks for the video, it's great! =)

I know what you mean about keeping a nail file in your purse or school bag because I keep one of those nail kits and I have to bring it out at the weirdest times so I can keep myself from biting my nails, which I have practically stopped. I know you said you don't file during class, but I can relate. I also have brought strengthener before to school =)

I am exactly the same as you! I'm a nervous biter! I am currently growing them, it was going quite well, but i had a relapse during an exam and just bit them all off, but now i'm doing well, and my nails are looking really good! Thanks for your video, your nails are awesome! I am trying to grow my problem nails out and do moisturize like crazy. I also use a hardening clear polish, but that always chips off. From your experience, was it better to keep polish on your nails to protect them from water, etc. or to keep polish off so that the lotions/creams could have direct contact on the nail? non acetone nail polish remover can actually be more damaging than those with acetone. since it spends less time on the nail- it takes less effort to get polish off.

@SarahMargaretMusic Haha I know what you mean. For me, I think a lot of it was just consciously just realizing I was doing it and mentally slapping myself. I'd realize I was picking at them and then would say "NO KRISTINA. STOP." and focus on doing something else with my hands, like twirling a pen or something. I find that helps :)

@lexi1748 I'd recommend Sand in my Suit :) I just find the colour is a bit more neutral and less of a contrast with my skin. Imported Champagne is still very pretty, but I find it's a little...stark. Much more of a white than a beige-y neutral. Hope that helps! :)
