Man just play for your own pleasure and forget that guitar Idols thing,it has nothing to do with music,your making good music already,what more do you want? Strip it down to the basics. It's about "you"and your music,great playing,greets Vic.
Its not just for pleasure.. jazzonazz is at a different level and is made for bigger things... if he is really so good why not vote for him ?? i dont see a reason why you should crib in voting for talented guys ?...
I wish him all the luck in the world don't get me wrong, just want to warn him that a musician will never get the financial gain he deserves , he'll be working to finance some producers swimming pool ,those are the wicked foxes.A record deal is never beneficial to Musicians but only to business men like recording companies.
you are right on that end.. struggle is a part of every good musicians agreed... but lets not forget if the names which are big today sat back and did not try we would have never even known bout them.. I feel if you are good at something and confident about your talent never give up... making it in the music world means a lot more than money to a musician I am sure you would agree on that... :)
On that last part I'm afraid I don't agree, financial benefit is a part of recognition, else you'll be playing your balls off and still no money to pay the bills, while everybody's screamin wow what a great guitar player but with empty pockets. Besides the concept of the Tube is sharing and no rat-racing and competition, this will do the Music no good at all,greets Vic.
what is the harm if someone who plays well... manages to make some money for himself out of it ?? I dont see a problem there ?? Anyway I did not intend to be rude if I did sound earlier. My best wishes are with this talented guy and I hope he makes it big thats all I can say :)
I totally agree,let him not only be a great guitarist(what he is allready) let him also be a good business man, and make his calculations just as smart as those so called producers,their days are counted anyway,down the drain with naivety and recording companies,greets Victor.
