I think this movie is about the human actions towards the unexpected, how each person deals with devastating discoveries.
It would take a long discussion to decide if Valerie should go to prison or not, as we do not know yet what kind of unexpected things did her husband do. However, we cannot forget that she committed a crime and, for that, she should be punished...
This film if nothing else will be thought provoking. I think that the this can happen in real life all too often. It happened to me. My ex was using drugs and sleeping around all the while pretending to be the perfect father to our 5 children. Eventually he ended up taking their innocence. He lost his freedom, but not for long enough!
As an avid movie-goer, I lean towards movies that have thought provoking twists. Some of the best movies I've watched are the ones that are so elaborate that the ending is a wonderful surprise! This movie trailer appears to have a plot not so elaborate. However, a plot that is taboo and so very real. I feel this movie will hit home to many. I fully agree that there will be many discussions thereafter based on movie content. I have a sense that this movie will be 'oprah approved!'

Its only at 3 theatres in ATL...I saw it at the ATL movies off of Camp creek Pkwy.

It's worth being shown in movies. If there were no culturally-induced shame about various expressions in sexuality, there would not be a disease of this type in my honest opinion.
The background intensity says it all, and drives the nail right on the head.

Well in my aspect this movie is a good idea whether it focus on HIV or any other disease. I am a healthcare professional and have worked with a few HIV positive folks while employed in Newark, NJ and I know quite a few old heads whom have died from this disease. I encourage girlfriends take your boyfriends to see this movie that way he will think before he have unprotected sex while cheating on you. I do thank God deeply THAT i AM NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE

I want to see this movie, because it has HIV in it, and I have been with a poz person. but besides that the story sounds engaging.

Since you asked in Care2...Honestly, from the trailer, no. It's a lot of tense music and a lot of disjointed clips, but really gives no idea of plot or premise to the film. Woman done wrong or woman framed? Hubby on the down low? Who knows? Too many disjointed sound bites that failed to form a cohesive idea of what the film is about or create any sort of empathy or or define any pathos for the characters other than everyone will be talking. meh.

Daaraugh....it's a trailer. The film is structured as a murder mystery and thus the viewer is left to ask the questions you presented. Most trailers are disjointed clips to give you a general idea about a film and peak your interest. I hope you will go see the film to get the full story....it's one worth watching.

True, however the question put forth in our group was based on this trailer, would you see the film? I am not disputing that the film could be very good. Based on the trailer you have no idea that her husband is on the down low, AIDS is in any way involved. It does not give enough information about the actual plot to gain enough interest. The trailer tries to generate suspense, but gives really not much clue as to the plot of the movie. Suspense only in a trailer won't get me in a theater.

I think this movie is about the human actions towards the unexpected, how each person deals with devastating discoveries.
It would take a long discussion to decide if Valerie should go to prison or not, as we do not know yet what kind of unexpected things did her husband do. However, we cannot forget that she committed a crime and, for that, she should be punished...

This film if nothing else will be thought provoking. I think that the this can happen in real life all too often. It happened to me. My ex was using drugs and sleeping around all the while pretending to be the perfect father to our 5 children. Eventually he ended up taking their innocence. He lost his freedom, but not for long enough!

As an avid movie-goer, I lean towards movies that have thought provoking twists. Some of the best movies I've watched are the ones that are so elaborate that the ending is a wonderful surprise! This movie trailer appears to have a plot not so elaborate. However, a plot that is taboo and so very real. I feel this movie will hit home to many. I fully agree that there will be many discussions thereafter based on movie content. I have a sense that this movie will be 'oprah approved!'

The movie is presented as a murder mystery and I believe shows a realistic portrayal of lost trust within a relationship. I believe viewers will keep an open mind and the movie WILL create some much needed discussion. Be sure to go see it in groups. The discussion afterwards is sure to be interesting.

My daughter "Tomorrow" is in the film as the daughter and this is a once in a life time message film, I am so glad that it is being released to the world.
