Every time I watch the cars.com reviews with the guy, he always manages to completely fuck up the review with his mundaneness, blandness, generalization, assumptions that are never backed by any facts and spectacular stupidity. This is the first time I have ever heard someone say that the LCs interior is not as good quality as an Esco. If that was the case, why is it that the only SUVs you will see in the deserts or in the U.N. are LC's and not Escalades. Case in point, this guy is a retard.

About the emergency flasher switch being low quality. Each button on the car controls something different so based on what it controls the switch sometimes has to be designed specifically for that feature and because of that it will probably look and feel different.

What does the PWR 2nd button do? I have read what it does on older land cruisers but this one is a toggle switch so if it was the same as those older Land cruisers it would be either lower gas mileage or off road mode. The problem is where is the normal mode with both options off?

When it come to high end SUVs, the US market goes for flashy and showy more than well built. Case in point the Escalade, big, obvious & showy, but falls apart rapidly when put to the test in triple digit heat on unpaved roads. A Land Cruiser costs more, yet isn't as loud and gimmicky as the Escalade but it will get you there & back over and over for years to come.

They sell a lot more in Aussie, Africa, Middle East etc where tough vehicles are necessary and if you can get supreme luxury as well then that's a bonus. Take a look on an old LC70. what do you find inside that? Well, an altenator, a battery, some lights and swiches and a crappy stereo.

thats the reason why the old LandCruisers work so well. If you should drown the car and shortsurit the intire electrical system, you can just jumpstart the old LandrCruiser and drive on(if you hav an diesel). That you cant do with the new one.
