@billyboylb I've met, and have seen Diane several times, and I can tell you, it's not to be missed! I'm waiting for her to come back to Chicago. Barbra's version is nice...in fact the entire album is remarkable in that once again Streisand manages to reinvent herself and music she's performing; her approach to the materal is spot on.

I first heard this song sung by Vanessa Williams on Ivan Lin's 'Love Affair. I have no idea where my CD is. I must re-order it again. This version is nice. But, I must say Louisiana Sunday Afternoon is my favorite by Diane. She has an immaculate voice!!
i was lucky to hear her at Wright State University 10 yrs ago...right after a good friend died of pancreatic cancer...id go down to the parking garage and listen to ms. schuur to recompose myself while at the hospital...she helped me so much...thanks deedles!...if you only knew..

I had to pleasure to see Diane Schuur at Saratoga Jazz Fest mid 90s. Will never forget her show stopping performance. What an amazing vocalist.
