"Gonna Take you There" feels so good. Good old fashioned family love on decibels. It's what I used to feel at family get-togethers when I was younger; warmth and food smells, granny and the adults in the living room making all sorts of noise and laughing like life couldn't get any better. We'd bring in strangers off the street and feed them, treat them like we knew them for the longest. Party 'till the kids fell asleep. Why don't we do that anymore. We don't and I miss it.

I think Ray is the perfect example of unconditional love. I think deep down, Ray KNEW Evangeline couldn't love him back since she was a star, but loved her anyway. Love is loving someone even when you either can't be with that person, or they can't love you back
