This movie was based on the novel I am legend by richard matherson. About a man named Robert Nevil who is the last human on earth everyone else has been turned into vampires. In the book the vampires know where he lives and he woards them off with garlic crosses and stakes just like anyother vampire. I have no idea why neither the director nor Will Smith say anything about the book or how it effected their role or idea for the film. Its Bull.

Okay, to turn it back to commenting on the video- I seriously LOVE Francis Lawrence's work. He's got some seriously stunning visual effects in both "I Am Legend" and especially in "Constantine".
