@3:30 Minutes: Which is the instrument in the background? I don´t mean the flute, I mean the other instrument. I would love to have this as a stand alone sample!!!
purchased a cd ago called 'beginners guide to bollywood'- 2 days ago. fantastic album thats been in constant rotation. i highly recommend. i was surprised at how many hip-hop producers had sampled these hindi songs. at least three i knew of. black eye peas 'dont funk with my heart'' /asha bhosle 'aye naujawan hai sab kuchh yahan', method man busta rhymes 'whats happenin' /asha bhosle 'dum maro dum' and of course this classic...
@CricketSayWhat Kalyonji Anandji made the track long time ago, then a few years ago Madlib sampled this track for the song "Champion Sound", which had J. Dilla rapping on it. The song "Champion Sound" is from Jaylib (collaboration between Madlib & J. Dilla) debut album Champion Sound.
It's cool to see that everyone is praising Madlib & J.Dilla for using this beat. I ask you all to listen to the guitar and then listen to 4th Chamber. RZA doubled it up. Listen carefully, and you'll see. Remember, RZA is one of the original obscure sample kings next to D.I.T.C. and DJ Premier.
This is from an INDIAN movie called Dharmatma.. its a Story about the Underworld 70's and how they ran things.. and smugling was the thing back then.. GOLD BUISCUITS and diamonds from AFRICA
to clear the rumors about who made this beat,MADLIB made this beat.the ones you hear with madlib rapping over are dilla's,and the ones you hear dilla rapping on are madlib's. ;)
oh yeah, probably my favorite madlib joint on the jaylib album.
but no, i dont know any original songs for his beat konducta in india album, those one are way too hard to find. even for this one it took a long research
@FunkDawg0711 Lol I could imagine. Obscure soul samples are hard enuff to find. This dudes has obscure middle eastern/indian samples. He prolly went to the slums of new dehli for this one lol.

Ok now I'm confused! I was under the impression that Kalyonji Anandji made this beat, so why do I keep hearing Jaylib or Madlib made it???
