  • BONSOIR A VOUS, C'EST UN NUAGE TRES INTERESSANT QUE VOUS AVEZ FILME. DOMMAGE QUE LA CAMERA BOUGEAIT BEAUCOUP MAIS ON EN PROFITE QUAND MEME. JE SUPPOSE QU'IL VOUS A AMENE PAS MAL DE PLUIE ET D'ECLAIRS. C'EST TRES RARE ET SI UN JOUR VOUS EN VOYEZ UN AUTRE, N'HESITEZ PAS A PRENDRE LA VOITURE POUR AVOIR UNE UNE D'ENSEMBLE DEGAGEE.

  • did he just say tsunami?

  • I wouldn't be running. I'd stay and watch too. I'm from the Midwest!! We don't run from storms!!

  • that is what u call a SUPER CELL THUNDERSTORM !!

  • theres a time when its time to turn off the camera and run for ur life. this is that time.

  • @MultiAnonymousdude It's just rain :P

  • youre all wrong, its a haarp cloud

  • @broadcastmyass4u Sure. Fired out of Santa Claus's butt with help from the Easter Bunny. Get a grip.

  • Brilliant camera work.

  • Its funny because the clouds themselves are completely harmless, and they are the part of the storm that scares us the most. lol

  • I live in lexington North carolina and about a month ago a random ass hail storm came in and it looked like armaggedeon outside. " I opened the door looked outside, was scarred SHITLESS closed the door real fast and went into wizard of oz concentrating and started wishn that ish was gone. It was so scary cause we don't ever EVER get stuff like that around here. But just the way it looked outside....looked dangerous!

  • man that's scary. but i adore storms

  • Not a wall cloud, not a tornado, not a pressure imbalance. It is called a shelf cloud caused by cold outflow running up and over warm inflow.

  • I cant see : (

  • LOOKS LIKE A SHIT STORMS A BREWIN !!! i bet you got some gnarly hail

  • gosh this is really scary!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @timjmartin84 Tripod. It's called a dictionary. Use It.

  • thats sum serious cloud nonsense ryt there

  • chuck norris hiding in a hedge row smoking a cigar

  • Make me a sammich.

  • This is called a shelf cloud. It s often found along the gust front of a thunderstorm.

  • it's cool to see but the camera shakes too much

  • COULD EVEN BE FROM FOREST FIRES.

  • I THINK THAT MAY BE A MASS OF AIR POLLUTION. LIKE STUFF FROM SMOKE STACKS FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD, GATHERED IN A SHIT STORM.

  • IIIITTTSSS GOOONNNNNAAA EEAAATTTTTT YOOOOUUUUUU!!!! either that or chuck norris sneezed ;)

  • I wouldn't even be able to look at that...its too scary

  • This was identified as a video of a supercell in formation. Note the overhang cloud and high anvil. You can find a good description of this on wikipedia and a great photo on Astronomy Picture of the Day

  • Uh, can we learn to hold the camera still?...

  • look like sand storm comeing ur way i dont believe it

  • I saw one like that in Québec (Canada). It was beautiful and so impressive. Just like in the video description, it started to rain heavily 30 seconds after it came.

  • how frkn wierd n scary! frightening is the right word!..u were on the exact point where the storm/wierd thing began/ended

  • looks like all the tons of aluminium dumped on us through chemtrails was spilling in front of this guys house!!!

  • cooooooolllll !!!

  • One time WAY back in 2nd grade, we were outside for a science experiment and all of a sudden it got super cold. I love weather...

  • IT'S HAARP!!!

  • It's a derecho, or mesocyclone. very beautiful to see :)

  • The dementors are coming.

  • Not a wall cloud. Sometimes called a roll cloud. Usually caused by multiple storms in the area. Since there is no storm behind it, it is most likely caused by outflow from other storms and usually moving quite quickly. Many times, there is light or no wind below it. If accompanied by a storm, strong straightline winds are just under and just before it. A wall cloud is formed by a supercell thunderstorm, close to the center of rotation and is the part that spawns the tornado.

  • @Landotter1 I know that as a shelf cloud. Same thing, outflow from a gust front.

  • if i saw that outside my window i would:

    1. scream

    2. shit my pants

    3. film it

    4. hide in my basement

  • @MsPurple222 Amen!!!

  • @MsPurple222 in that order?

  • @MsPurple222

you forgot to add them all up. here:

    scream+shit pants+ film it+ hide in basement= woose

  • @MsPurple222

If I saw that I would

    1. Hold the camera still.

    2. Video a scene and then turn the camera.

    3. Hold the camera still.

  • @MsPurple222 Least your Priority's are straight......

  • @MsPurple222 ive seen these. my first reaction was i shit my pants. rolled up into a ball and cried for a hour

  • Lmao

  • Pretty much harmless I suppose, but still I would be scared *&^%less if I saw something like that coming over the horizon.

  • looks like a Tornado is heading ur way

  • looks like its 2012 in tornadoes :P

  • CHUCK NORRIS FARTED!!!!!!!!!!! BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @SuperCivic1983 not even funny.

  • @SuperCivic1983 Chuck Norris's Fart > 2012.

  • @SolidLiquidGases hee hee. Nice.

  • it looks like an under developed mesocyclone to me but idk

  • QUITE A SCARY SIGHT!

  • Looks like a shelf cloud, probably a super cellular thunderstorm. Those 'teeth' at the front are scud clouds (if they had no rotation, that is). They look scary but they are harmless. The temperature probably dropped dramatically and you would probably have experienced cold winds. If it looked really bubbly underneath it, that's the whale's mouth effect. Often these storms can drop tornadoes under certain conditions. I saw a lot of these in Iowa, USA. I adored them. This one has a lovely shape!

  • I'm tired of hearing people make Chuck Norris references to weather phenominon. Very stupid. He's only human, its funny every now and then but after a while GROW UP!!

  • @KungFuKid1015 This is probably you're first time seeing someone refer 'weather'

as to the 'teh king of fists'. Watch Chuck Norris beat up someone before whining about the clouds looking at you in your sleep.

  • ufo invasion

  • That's what I like to see near my house

  • that is freaky.

  • so wat? iv been stuck outside in this many times. storms that look alot worse than this. wat really gets frightening is wen everything gets quiet after the the tornado sirens go off. this video is weak

  • I saw clouds like that one time on my way home from work and was so freaked by it I realized I was doing like 70mph to get home to my kids. That is so cool.

  • that's the kind of things that would make me take out my old teddy bear (no joke XD)

  • That is creepy :/

  • That's one heck of a storm cell, i would be fleeing fast!!!

  • I saw somethig like that once when i was in Penhold , Alberta. Except it wasn't as thick but it stretched waay further back. We had a big storm that night and a tornado had touched down a few miles from there. That was in 2003 I think.

    Was this filmed in Japan?

  • cookie

  • who is chuck norris?

  • int soviet russia, the ground scares the clouds away

  • Chuck Norris would have strapped on a paraglider and examen the clouds at close range

  • Wall cloud, looks like the beginning of a cold front moving in. That's why you see nothing below in the foreground and the upper level clouds above it moving higher upward because of the pressure imbalance.

  • @jetblack135 No, that looks like a squall line. Very linear.

  • @jetblack135 oohhh, and science takes all the fun out of it again, lol.

  • @jetblack135 Not a wall cloud, that is a shelf cloud. Shelf clouds are at the front of a storm system. Wall clouds are low hanging clouds in the rain free base at the rear of the cloud.

  • de asta nu au voie sa filmeze imbecilii

  • It looks like a small supercell thunderstorm. I grew up seeing cloud formations like that in Kansas all the time in spring and summer. They can be scary to anyone who's not used to seeing them roll in like that.

  • Een dergelijke wolk hebben wij in Nederland ook wel gehad. Lijkt echt alsof de wereld vergaat.

  • i think that cloud is on steroids!

  • OMG! I have never seen anything like this EVER! Almost looks like tornadoes or something, but it's not windy...I'd be freaked if I saw those!

  • Saw the same thing happen in florida. Nuthin happened :D

  • i wish i had clouds like that were i live

  • They are called Shelf clouds. Normal part of the leading edge or cold air masses moving through warmer air masses. Part of a pretty nice size thunderstorms.

  • Ever heard of a tripod?

  • The cloud has utters! squeeze them!

  • they are indeed pretty scary.

  • 2012

  • love to see such a thing! thnx for sharing...

  • Interesting formations....it's such a shame he can't keep the camera still for a few seconds so we can actually see them. Is his tripod made of jelly????
