Some of us miss the SPORT of cheerleading. I cheered for ten years and it was my life. You're not an "ex-cheerleader" because you were never a cheerleader; you merely practiced the verb and not the noun. Have a wonderful day and try to not be such a negative Nancy. lol I cheered in highschool and I so didn't fit in with everyone else. But I loved it, so having friends didn't matter. I ended up being captain my senior year and STILL wasn't close to anyone. And I miss cheer SO bad! I remember every word and every cheer, but you're right, we can't just start cheers in public lol

I went to american high school as an exchange student, and I got in the cheerleading team and it was exactly like that!! There were some normal girls, but pretty much all of them were mean and very proud of their beauty and said things like "you don't mine if i go next to Braile right?" haha I quit after a month...

@Hannahmb1996 lol no it's not. Some public schools can be kind of close...but I go to a private (not run by the gov't...I think in England private is the opposite?) school and it's nothing like Mean Girls at all. So it depends on what school you go to :)

I can totally relate to the mute part! Wow I thought I was the only one. But actually for me that happened in middle school. Even after I talked people would say "Omg I never knew that her voice sounded like that!".

So then after that I would talk even MORE in hopes they would stop but instead that would say "I can't hear her" even though I would be talking at normal volume. You can never win with these people.
