Derrick was the first punk band drummer I ever saw play live. They finally came to play in London ages after I'd first fallen in love with their music and lyrics. I remember to this day standing there in awe, unable to move as I was so fixated on his sticks flying around. Joey rocks for sure.

Joey Cape has the most amazing, and haunting voice. Whether it's hard or mellow, the guy simply kicks ass. Lagwagon was the band that introduced me to the punk rock scene many years ago. They just don't have that same sound since derrick passed on.
