PHANTOM OF THE OPERA seriously do we really need another adaptation? not judging it by the way, just so people know, i am interested to see this and it does look fun.
@canelongno1 It's looking like a pseudo Phantom of the Opera, but not. Which is really weird, it looks like it'll be good but I'd rather it either went with the Phantom of the Opera, but with a flea, or just skipped the idea of that story entirely. Like, no opera singing. But looks good either way
this is probably the best type of trailer, so random i don't have a clue what the story could be... most trailers instantly give you an idea of the story and how it'll end.
@oliviaWILLBEwild lots of movie have a british cast XD the dark knight is almost entirely british imagine that a british batman... I swear to god even christopher nolan is british and he directed it XD "now swear to me"
@oliviaWILLBEwild Voiced? Annie and Jurassic park are live action films. Plus in Jurassic Park there are like 3 Brits who are ALL main characers, Richard Attenborough... Sam Neil... & Bob Peck. Plus in Ice age 3...well... you've got the mighty SIMON PEGG!
@oliviaWILLBEwild For audience numbers. Even if it's a dubbed film, American accents are the expected industry standard if you will, they're the neutral accent, especially for films aimed at children like this. Even if it were released in it's original French with subtitles, it would make more sense than recording English accents and involving another layer of national identity to the film. It'd just be confusing. I get your point, but the industry still belongs to Hollywood....bit depressing XD
@oliviaWILLBEwild We're good enough for villians. Also americans do not always understand our dialogue, Wallace and Gromit films dialogue had to be cut and redub in some parts so the americans wouldn't get confused.
@oliviaWILLBEwild Annie is set in America... So how would it make sense to have British actors in it? I know what you mean, the vast majority of films do use Americans, but their film industry is a lot bigger than ours. Also, we still win; we have Harry Potter, whereas they have Twilight.
@oliviaWILLBEwild What!?! Are you mad? look at all the disney films voiced by brits hell even the majority supporting cast of the first three stars wars films are from the u.k. I'm an american and I know thr brits represent in dozens of american films each year some of them even use american accents and you wouldn't know they are u.k. until their behind scene interview.
@oliviaWILLBEwild americans and/ or canadians accents r more clear and easier to understand for the people who have english as second language ... btw im libyan girl
Wow. It's like Phantom of the Opera... but not.
