I'm suing them, I bought the game strictly on this demo, they cannot find a way around that. They never said " This is just a demo". It's a 360 game not a PC MMO or some shit were they do last minute changes. For 360 if you see a demo, that IS the game.

thumbs up if you think that the warthog scout should be replaced with a mongoose as the scout and the mongooses upgrade should be a marine on the back with a rocket launcher and ram ability. the warthog should be put in the vehicle depot and make it stronger so its actaully somewhat of an attack vehicle

The Person talking is a person who used to work for ensemble but then it got shut down. BUT if you go to halo waypoint go to intel and go to halo wars and go to the overview videos He's the one talking. Now what i found out is that this demo is the first thing ensemble made but they got shut down 343 had to remake the demo and its completely different now. BTW the guy talking is a beta tester.

This was the origianl version  more like age of empires. However Microsoft felt that they needed to dumb down the game to make it more simplistic like the other halo games.

@thefw190fan if you play a 3 vs 3 multiplayer game in halo wars you would need the colours to separate the teams, so the unsc are either green, yellow or blue and the covenant are either purple, blue or red

other than some of the effects (such as explosion) I find the demo much better than than the actual game. Here UNSC units are a bit grey and not just bright green (same goes for the Covenant who are not bright purple). I also like this base because its more base-like (it would have been even more cool if each base was a bit diff depending on mission). I like how units take less time to kill and no flood!!! The game would have been also neat if it had better ai & a better plot

I actually like some of the changes. The final base system works really well in game and allows the basic build order strategies without awkward positioning with the controller. Streamlined design and good controls allowed it to play very well with a controller, better to do a console RTS right than to clone Starcraft and clumsily adapt it to 360.

That said, obviously the graphics (particularly the lighting) were downgraded, and the campaign at least could have had more of the details.

This gameplay demo made me buy this game and I don't regret it at all. But if the finished game came out like the demo including all of the realistic features and smoother gameplay i think it would of been a much more successful game ( not saying it wasn't successful) but I'm sure many of you agree with me that it is one of the best RTS for xbox alongside LOTR BFME. And if I still can I'm gunna download the demo and give that a go?

I went about making my own RTS that has all the halo factions playable in space and on the ground, with Microsoft allowing me to do so, a free-ware game called Halo VS Star Wars, yep you heard it, an epic clash, of universe VS universe, UNSC and Republic VS Covenant and CIS, with awesome visuals, and great controls, a pure based fan game that, is developed by me, listening to what you guys want in it :), get involved, as it is really coming along nicely
