Wait I'm confused. You said you tried to correct the 25% TCA peel scars with 25% TCA peels? (At 7:09.) Are you saying you only support 25% TCA peels unless it's for a scar? Are you saying that a lower concentration of TCA would have been beneficial for you?
@ach1088 Good catch!! What I meant to say was,, "Fractional Laser" is the best treatment for scarring" Not TCA peel,, oops, my bad. I've only had laser done to correct my scarring. With the loads of research I've done, (and others) this is the best option for me. And it has helped so much,, but I will never get my pigment back or undo the scars. (outside and inside) I would not touch another TCA peel with a ten foot poll at this point.
@ocgirl008 The stuff that I get done to my face is the only proven correction for my scarring. The laser softens the skin and brings it back to as "normal" as it can be. Before treatment for scarring I didn't even have hair or pores and was painful. The treatment has helped and I go back to them because I cannot afford $650 a treatment anywhere else. Also,, no one will touch my skin because of the damage, I've been turned away. The Dr that did my peel does not do the laser, same business though.
First I would like to wish you luck on your following procedures. I hope they corrrect your problems. I had a light chemical peel done by a spa. I left the salon with instructions to take advil for the pain. two weeks later I was left with dark scars up under my eyes, all around my mouth and the sides of my face. I looked so old.The spa was out of take home products to aide in the healing of my skin for two weeks which was promised that I would have after treatment. Was I wronged can I suit?
@prettyinpink44881 I've looked into a law suit for two years now and have been told time and time again,,,,,, "You basically have to be missing a nose, lost your eyesight, or worse to have a case in Colorado" They all feel bad they can't help me but know I will never win a case. So, I'm getting over it and learning to deal. I spend a lot of time in the mirror covering the scarring/pigment loss and that will be a lifetime event. Best of luck to you!! I wish I had better news, XO
I just had the 21% TCA peel done yesterday. Its a shame for someone to make a mistake on someone on something that important and dangerous. The reason I mentioned lack of communication.I always ask new clients/patients what their concern is (in addition to my 4 pg questionaire they are required to complete prior to the appointment). Did they administer a patch test prior to the initial peel? TCA's may be applied in several layers depending on the assesment of the client/patient. You mentioned frosting a couple hours after the appointment.this was my clue that the professional did not inform you of what to expect during or after.
Initial problem--lack of communication. If you felt you had great skin beforehand, why have a chemical peel? Most important...treatment protocol should have been discussed not to mention all necessary paperwork....if you were chemically burned, Retin-A most likely is not the best choice ....have you considered microderm rather than the Frac treatments?
@KingstonRocks09 I had great skin before is retrospect now that my skin is ruined. She layered the TCA peel and from what I know now,,, that is a no no. I had three doctors tell me this after the fact. I never put the Retin-A on the burnt skin,, only the hyper pigmented skin to try to lighted, so it somewhat matches the hyper pigmented skin. I have thought about Microderm and Erbium Laser. We will see, I've been letting my skin rest for a few months now,, giving it a break from any procedure.
I just did my first fraxel laser treatment I am on day 6..My face is so tight and wind burned. Be very very careful it will burn your face far worse than any peel. Im concerned I may be scared on my chin area, we will see. I think in another week I should be 100% healed. To be honest Fraxel is 3-4 treatments for full results. I don't think i can do it again, it was that bad..My face was so red it looked like a meth lab blew up on me..I will keep you posted on the end results :)
What, in your opinion, went wrong with the chemical peel? I know you mentioned at the beginning that your face is suppossed to neutralize the TCA, how exactly? Was the nurse supposed to rinse it off or apply a mosturizer to help the neutralization? Or was it that your skin had something like an allergic reaction to the chemicals? Also TCA for what I know is a stronger chemical used for acne scars and unwanted tattoos, why use it on your skin if it was in good shape? I've had 3 CO2 laser for acne
@scrosbie811 I'm sure that everything that could have gone wrong did. The preparation before hand was not handled right, washing of the face was incomplete, the application was applied way too many times, the follow through: washing of skin, moisturizer, sunscreen was not done at all and so on. I've had many friends and family that have had this done as well, they were all shocked to find out how this was done/handled.
I had the same burn, I started using castor Oil 2 times a day, and it help a lot, but it takes time, and Origins Brighter by Nature Serum and Origins Brighter by nature SPF 35, my was even worst because I am black, I have spent a lot of money, but it is better now, try also African black soap it has no Chemical in it.you will see the changes
its definitely noticable and discolored etc, but your really pretty nonetheless for what its worth and i too echo the sentiment that i hope you sue for at least 1.5million or so to cover future medical procedures alongside pain/suffering. but like i said, your really pretty and as a guy i wouldnt care for what its worth but i know not everyone is like me..
I don't know if you know this but theres this thing called Re-cell, which basically takes a sample of your skin (very small size, behind your ear usually) and takes the melanin and reintroduces it into your skin. I can see why your dermatologist hasn't heard of it since its not approved in the states yet, so you'd have to go to either spain, canada or the uk (the uk is prob your best bet) I hope things work out for you
I am so sorry to hear about your experience! How frightening. Is the current treatment supposed to restore your skin back to 100%? What time frame did they give you? It sounds like negligence on your dermatologist's part. Have you looked into a lawsuit? I hope you don't have to pay for all this "damage restoration" that they caused you. I am so interested in the future outcome of your skin. Take care and I hope your skin is repareable to 100%!
@tuggbote1 It's a good question, but by god is it common for a naturally healthy and beautiful woman to feel like they need to get things done to themselves to be normal. Thank the media for that one.
Is it advisable to continue agitating the skin with laser skin resurfacing rather than let naturally recover or do they HAVE TO do the surfacing to remove the damaged skin or blend the skin tones and pigments?
Why did they use a 25% tca peel in 1 go? Aren't they supposed to do light peels of 5% to 7% solution, then wipe the acid off and leave a neutralizing agent on the face for several minutes to ensure the acid is neutralized? How long did they say it'd take for the skin to reconstruct itself if you used JUST skin lotions, ointments, healing agents?
i did this myself, I'm a black person and got hyper pigmentation or burn. Listen go straight to vit. A to fix this when you get your new treatments use carrot A. I just did a new peel and use retina A .25 that I got online. sadly you paid for this and I think a Derm should know more than we do..... right but beauty is pain and you still look awesome girl keep your head up
I feel so bad and am sorry for what you have been through. A similar thing happened to me with the CO2 laser. It went very wrong and it caused me severe hyper pigmentation! very painful and months to heal!!I have had 5 fractional laser treatments over the last 5 months with a worse out come (darker and more pigment) then before. Wednesday they want me to have a TCA peel, but after watching your story, I am doubtful. I think your very beautiful and your skin is looking better. Rethinking my appt
@oliver10434 Honestly DO NOT get the TCA peel. I have heard so many horror stories since I've come forward with my videos! This is not a safe option for our skin. I'm very sorry to hear what you've been through. I'm still not sure what to do about the hyper pigment on my face, it is such a contrast from where I have no pigment. Please let me know what you decide to do xo
I want one really bad....Im actually getting one this Tuesday, but after watching this video Im scared!!...What do you think???...By the way you are beautiful!!!
I hope you still aren't going back to that same dermatologist that allowed this to happen. I am really sorry this happened to you. I have a similar problem, although it is not as bad as yours. My skin texture totally changed. My skin texture went from smooth to as rough as a lizard and constantly flaky.
hmm you are not the first one who experienced accident with chemical peel - its like playing with nitroglycerin - sometimes it goes bang i u face- I never heard that about laser - so its more controllable i think - good luck my dear!!
Ohhh das sooo sad, coz i hav the same problm i had very intense tca peel to rmov scars bt it left my face full of dark pigmentation n now even after 4 years i tried evrythng on earth bt still couldnt get back my skin colour, now i am thinking to go for fractional to remov pigmentation as i think problem is lying very deep inside n odr lasrs r nt deep enough, so plz tell me did fractional help u to improv pigmenation??
What you need to do hun is put a darker color foundation on the skin that is too light then when it dries bring the skin color back up with a lighter color foundation on the light spots. and only put foundation on the discolored marks not your whole face. Derma blend makes a waterproof foundation in a variety of shades yoou might wanna try it.

You look great. I've been wanting to get a professional TCA peel for a while now, and I'm not sure if I should do it. I don't really care about loss of pigment on my face, because I'm trying to lighten it anyways because it's 3 shades darker than my body. I just don't know about the downsides like scarring or anything. Don't worry, you still look really good.
You still look really good, and your skin looks MUCH younger than 37 even with the pigment problems. I had a tca peel too, and it does definitely change the texture of your skin. It makes it waxy or something. it's hard to describe. I still (about 4 years later) have areas that are a different color than other parts of my face because of it. some lighting you can't really tell. in sunlight it looks HORRIBLE
Thank you so much for sharing your story! I have brown skin and I was thinking about getting a chemical peel but now I most definitely will not since my skin scars very easily. I'm sorry for what happened to you but you really look fierce for being a 37 yr old with 3 kids!
I should've added that I'd thought about getting a tca peel (went back and forth in my mind), and since you've sharing what happened to you, I definitely will not get one. Thanks again for educating and caring about others! Btw, you look fabulous to me :)
Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with the results that were not what you'd expected. Please think of yourself as a SURVIVOR and not a victim :) If you haven't sought legal counsel, perhaps you should and find out if the doctor or other medical professionals have any culpability. Regarding laser, for anyone, please be careful as some people have gotten fat loss in the cheeks and scarring. Wishing you continued healing.
Did the dermatologist leave the peel on too long? I heard it's only supposed to stay on for 3-4 minutes. I'm considering using the chemical peel method to fade away some light ink pigmentation that my tattoo artist did without my ok! It's in a place that wouldn't be seen too often tho. What do you think?
@hmbundy I don't know about fading a tattoo,, but I can tell you that it HURTS!! TCA peels are very painful and very unforgiving. Personally, because of my dramma, I would never in a million years use TCA for anything. If It won't be seen to often,,, I wouldn't sweat it,, could make it look worse. Good luck, XO
Dear, you should sue them. I live in Norway, and it was in the newspaper yesterday about a norwegian woman who got the same peel as you 25% TCA, and she lost all her pigments. She sued, and the dermotologist had to pay her almost 50000 dollars.
My skin is the same, I'm thinking I won't get my pigment back anytime soon,. most likely never. It is a total bummer but I need to keep my head up. Thanks to everyone that commented or watched, I feel better just knowing that I have you all on my side. Light and love xo
This was negligence on their part. I don't know if this was your first chemical peel but you are supposed to start off with 8% or 12.5% and then progress with a higher percentage or just stay at the lower percentages if your skin isn't that bad. You said you had good skin so a low percentage would have been better for you. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience but the dermatologist and nurse who did the chemical peel are the ones to blame because they did not care for you properly.
Thanks for sharing your video. Hopefully others can learn from your experience. If people knew more about what TCA actually is, they would realize that it is unsuitable to be used as a skin peel. Very dangerous chemical. Only good for removing warts.
The pink scars that you're seeing should reduce with time. The pit scarring, is from your collagen being damaged. So, those pits are actually collagen missing. A gentle serum with peptides should help. Peptides are released naturally when your skin is hurt to tell your cells to create more collagen. Also, jojoba oil for the skin with out pores would be beneficial for protecting it from the elements. However, the hypopigment can't be treated, you have to hope melanocytes regenerate on their own.
Hydroquinone is so terrible for you, please don't use it with out researching it first. It's illegal in most countries for a reason. You should really consider talking to another derm about your situation. I'm so sorry that happened to you, I hear horror stories about medium peels all the time. They are supposed to have you go to an esthetician to prep your skin for the peel and give you a TON of info about home care before they preform the peel. Afterwards, you visit an esthetician to maintain.
@pinkxpaperxdolls I'm not using the Hydroquinone,, my skin didn't like it at all. I have an appointment tomorrow and again next week with different plastic surgeons and dermatologist. So I'm getting the ball rolling to see what my other options are. Thank you so much for your response :)
@pinkxpaperxdolls The Plastic Surgeon said that I should stop all treatments to my face,,, that it needs a break from always healing. He was in shock to hear my story and the damage the peel has caused. He told me that nothing anyone can do will get my skin back to normal. That I will never get the pigment back and that where the biggest scars are,,,, the pores will not return either. So,, this is permanent,,, I guess I always knew that but was hoping for some miracle.
@pinkxpaperxdolls He didn't recommend anything, frankly,, I believe he didn't dare to. A friend told me about ginger root, slice it and slightly rub on the scarred areas. It maybe works on a cellular level and tells the cells to make pigment?!. Who knows but at this point I want to try something natural. But,,, I'm not going to do anything as of now, just let my skin rest. XO
@tlvailco Letting it rest from things like photo and laser treatments would be best, but a basic home care regime never hurts. Eventually you will be able to do superficial chemical peels with lactic acid after the pink scaring has had a break for a little over 6 months. I hope everything goes well!
@tlvailco Also, I'm sorry if the interest I've taken in your peel seems odd. I'm an esthetician and I have an obsession with skin care. I wanted to be a derm until I realized that they mostly prescribe and don't get as much hands on action with peoples faces. =)
@pinkxpaperxdolls Hehe, not at all! I really do like hearing your imput, you seem very informative, more so than anyone who I've spoken to so far! I'm seeing another Derm tomorrow at 11, I will update as to what he has to say. I would have responded earlier but my computer has been freezing up and don't know how to reply using my phone :) Oh, have you heard about using ginger to help bring back the pigment?
@tlvailco I haven't. To be honest, the cells that create your pigment are located in the lowest layer of the epidermis. Medium depth peels go past that layer. It's left up to the remaining pigment cells at the bottom of your hair follicles to spread out in that lower layer if they don't regenerate on there own. That's why I mentioned lactic acid superficial peels in the future. They break down the top layer of the epidermis, which causes the lowest layer to create new healthier cells.
Respond to this video... If they don't help the lowest layer, they at least cause the rest to be paler by exfoliating, which makes the two shades less apparent. They are extremely gentle and would also help take off the damaged pink scarring, which would help your tone become more uniform. The only thing to keep in mind if you ever decide to try them is that whenever you exfoliate like that, you have to wear an SPF daily because it makes your skin more vulnerable to UV rays.
Respond to this video... As far as organic is concerned lactic acid is derived from sour milk, and it's been used as a peel since Cleopatra. There's also a great line called Lotus Moon, that uses all organic ingredients and essential oil as fragrance.
are you going to the same dermatologist that did the peel? did you sue? or are you maybe getting the resurfacing free? i feel like they should pay for what they did to your skin. this is terrible.
@A7Xspazz They are doing the laser for free, I've had about 10 so far. But my skin is still scarred and I'm looking into what my options are, whether I should sue or what. Thanks for your feedback :)
@tlvailco You poor thing that is so horrible!!! Of course they are paying for you laser treatments, they are trying to keep you happy to cover their major F-up... You could get a lot more out of suing them than all their "free" laser treatments could amount to, and frankly you have every reason to sue them. I personally would not allow them to do anymore work on you, they are clearly incompetent :( This is so sad you are such a sweet and beautiful woman, I would seriously talk to a lawyer!
@tlvailco cont... And i do not suggest suing for the sake of greed, rather for the ability to pay for a responsible doctor to reverse your damages at another office, and to prevent them from harming another patient the way they have harmed you. I hope everything works out for you. Your scars do not take from your beauty, but as a woman how we feel about ourselves is most important and I hope you heal emotionally from what they put you through, god bless!!
I am taking my video down because I don't ever want anyone to go through what you went through or to ever think these things are a good idea. God bless you!!
@CBVictoria Awww, Thanks for being so sweet! You don't have to take down your video because of me! That is not what I intended at all. You are very beautiful indeed, inside and out. I'm posting a quick before video this morning,,, before I go in for my fractional laser resurfacing,, then I'll post straight away after video.
it looks like the chemical peel burn so deep that it burned the melanin out of the skin, which gives the skin color..You could also try using a 4% skin bleaching cream to bleach the rest of your face and blend the skin some..not sure if you thought of this. It is not permenant bleaching, but it will make you skin look pale...
@Ahhapictures Oh wow, I never heard of that before,,,, burning so deep that it burned the melanin out of my skin!! I will do some research on that for sure. I have been using some skin products to lighten the rest of the skin but that isn't working so well for some reason?!
@tlvailco I was going to suggest using a 4-6% Hydroquninone, Dr's strength. I used it for 6 months and it made my skin lighter, but you must keep at it. Yes, the melanin are cells in the top layer of the dermis or lower dermis, which provide our skin color and sun protection.
@Ahhapictures I believe I did use that but had to stop, with all the fractional and photo facials my skin was just to sensitive at the time. (always in a healing mode) The hydroquninone was by Obagi and was a liquid if I remember correctly. How did the live show go?
@tlvailco Obagi makes the hyroquinone and your right it can cause the skin to be sensitive and is only good when you are completely healed. The live show went well. It was the first time my brother performed in 10 years. This band had been together for 6 months, so this was there first live show. It was a small show. I'm now going to edit the footage for Youtube.
@Ahhapictures Thanks for being supportive! Funny I never thought to do this before! I'm making a short video before I go in for my fractional laser resurfacing this morning. Also, she does Photo Facial Therapy on my chest, shoulders and my hands, those dark spots are almost gone, just have to always keep up with sunscreen!
Thank you so much for sharing this with me and the viewers. I can see the hypopigmented areas and the scars.. People really need to know that this can happen. Again, great video to warn other people about cosmetic surgery gone wrong.. This will help many people.

I've had 3 CO2 laser for acne
scrosbie811 4 months ago

Is it advisable to continue agitating the skin with laser skin resurfacing rather than let naturally recover or do they HAVE TO do the surfacing to remove the damaged skin or blend the skin tones and pigments?
betatalk357 6 months ago

Rethinking my appt
oliver10434 6 months ago
@oliver10434 Honestly DO NOT get the TCA peel. I have heard so many horror stories since I've come forward with my videos! This is not a safe option for our skin. I'm very sorry to hear what you've been through. I'm still not sure what to do about the hyper pigment on my face, it is such a contrast from where I have no pigment. Please let me know what you decide to do xo

OMG! This is terrible! Are you suing the company? Are they doing all those laser and photo treatments free of charge?
BelleDiamond 7 months ago

CuteandCreepy123 7 months ago 2
You still look really good, and your skin looks MUCH younger than 37 even with the pigment problems. I had a tca peel too, and it does definitely change the texture of your skin. It makes it waxy or something. it's hard to describe. I still (about 4 years later) have areas that are a different color than other parts of my face because of it. some lighting you can't really tell. in sunlight it looks HORRIBLE

Jannsmith 8 months ago
Did the dermatologist leave the peel on too long? I heard it's only supposed to stay on for 3-4 minutes. I'm considering using the chemical peel method to fade away some light ink pigmentation that my tattoo artist did without my ok! It's in a place that wouldn't be seen too often tho. What do you think?
hmbundy 8 months ago
@hmbundy I don't know about fading a tattoo,, but I can tell you that it HURTS!! TCA peels are very painful and very unforgiving. Personally, because of my dramma, I would never in a million years use TCA for anything. If It won't be seen to often,,, I wouldn't sweat it,, could make it look worse. Good luck, XO
tlvailco 8 months ago
Dear, you should sue them. I live in Norway, and it was in the newspaper yesterday about a norwegian woman who got the same peel as you 25% TCA, and she lost all her pigments. She sued, and the dermotologist had to pay her almost 50000 dollars.
missjoanna95 8 months ago
My skin is the same, I'm thinking I won't get my pigment back anytime soon,. most likely never. It is a total bummer but I need to keep my head up. Thanks to everyone that commented or watched, I feel better just knowing that I have you all on my side. Light and love xo

ROCKSOLID36 8 months ago 2
This was negligence on their part. I don't know if this was your first chemical peel but you are supposed to start off with 8% or 12.5% and then progress with a higher percentage or just stay at the lower percentages if your skin isn't that bad. You said you had good skin so a low percentage would have been better for you. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience but the dermatologist and nurse who did the chemical peel are the ones to blame because they did not care for you properly.
honeyvixen82 9 months ago 2
Thanks for sharing your video. Hopefully others can learn from your experience. If people knew more about what TCA actually is, they would realize that it is unsuitable to be used as a skin peel. Very dangerous chemical. Only good for removing warts.
highnote606 10 months ago 2
The pink scars that you're seeing should reduce with time. The pit scarring, is from your collagen being damaged. So, those pits are actually collagen missing. A gentle serum with peptides should help. Peptides are released naturally when your skin is hurt to tell your cells to create more collagen. Also, jojoba oil for the skin with out pores would be beneficial for protecting it from the elements. However, the hypopigment can't be treated, you have to hope melanocytes regenerate on their own.
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
Hydroquinone is so terrible for you, please don't use it with out researching it first. It's illegal in most countries for a reason. You should really consider talking to another derm about your situation. I'm so sorry that happened to you, I hear horror stories about medium peels all the time. They are supposed to have you go to an esthetician to prep your skin for the peel and give you a TON of info about home care before they preform the peel. Afterwards, you visit an esthetician to maintain.
pinkxpaperxdolls 11 months ago 2
@pinkxpaperxdolls I'm not using the Hydroquinone,, my skin didn't like it at all. I have an appointment tomorrow and again next week with different plastic surgeons and dermatologist. So I'm getting the ball rolling to see what my other options are. Thank you so much for your response :)
tlvailco 11 months ago
@tlvailco That's awesome! Please keep us updated!
pinkxpaperxdolls 11 months ago
@pinkxpaperxdolls The Plastic Surgeon said that I should stop all treatments to my face,,, that it needs a break from always healing. He was in shock to hear my story and the damage the peel has caused. He told me that nothing anyone can do will get my skin back to normal. That I will never get the pigment back and that where the biggest scars are,,,, the pores will not return either. So,, this is permanent,,, I guess I always knew that but was hoping for some miracle.
tlvailco 11 months ago
@tlvailco Omg, did the Plastic Surgeon recommend any home care regime, like jojoba oil for the skin without pores?
pinkxpaperxdolls 11 months ago
@pinkxpaperxdolls He didn't recommend anything, frankly,, I believe he didn't dare to. A friend told me about ginger root, slice it and slightly rub on the scarred areas. It maybe works on a cellular level and tells the cells to make pigment?!. Who knows but at this point I want to try something natural. But,,, I'm not going to do anything as of now, just let my skin rest. XO
tlvailco 10 months ago
@tlvailco Letting it rest from things like photo and laser treatments would be best, but a basic home care regime never hurts. Eventually you will be able to do superficial chemical peels with lactic acid after the pink scaring has had a break for a little over 6 months. I hope everything goes well!
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
@tlvailco Also, I'm sorry if the interest I've taken in your peel seems odd. I'm an esthetician and I have an obsession with skin care. I wanted to be a derm until I realized that they mostly prescribe and don't get as much hands on action with peoples faces. =)
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
@pinkxpaperxdolls Hehe, not at all! I really do like hearing your imput, you seem very informative, more so than anyone who I've spoken to so far! I'm seeing another Derm tomorrow at 11, I will update as to what he has to say. I would have responded earlier but my computer has been freezing up and don't know how to reply using my phone :) Oh, have you heard about using ginger to help bring back the pigment?
tlvailco 10 months ago
@tlvailco I haven't. To be honest, the cells that create your pigment are located in the lowest layer of the epidermis. Medium depth peels go past that layer. It's left up to the remaining pigment cells at the bottom of your hair follicles to spread out in that lower layer if they don't regenerate on there own. That's why I mentioned lactic acid superficial peels in the future. They break down the top layer of the epidermis, which causes the lowest layer to create new healthier cells.
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
Respond to this video... If they don't help the lowest layer, they at least cause the rest to be paler by exfoliating, which makes the two shades less apparent. They are extremely gentle and would also help take off the damaged pink scarring, which would help your tone become more uniform. The only thing to keep in mind if you ever decide to try them is that whenever you exfoliate like that, you have to wear an SPF daily because it makes your skin more vulnerable to UV rays.
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
Respond to this video... As far as organic is concerned lactic acid is derived from sour milk, and it's been used as a peel since Cleopatra. There's also a great line called Lotus Moon, that uses all organic ingredients and essential oil as fragrance.
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
Respond to this video... I would still try the ginger, it can't hurt and it smells delicious.
pinkxpaperxdolls 10 months ago
are you going to the same dermatologist that did the peel? did you sue? or are you maybe getting the resurfacing free? i feel like they should pay for what they did to your skin. this is terrible.
A7Xspazz 11 months ago
@A7Xspazz They are doing the laser for free, I've had about 10 so far. But my skin is still scarred and I'm looking into what my options are, whether I should sue or what. Thanks for your feedback :)
tlvailco 11 months ago
@tlvailco You poor thing that is so horrible!!! Of course they are paying for you laser treatments, they are trying to keep you happy to cover their major F-up... You could get a lot more out of suing them than all their "free" laser treatments could amount to, and frankly you have every reason to sue them. I personally would not allow them to do anymore work on you, they are clearly incompetent :( This is so sad you are such a sweet and beautiful woman, I would seriously talk to a lawyer!
theoneje 11 months ago
@tlvailco cont... And i do not suggest suing for the sake of greed, rather for the ability to pay for a responsible doctor to reverse your damages at another office, and to prevent them from harming another patient the way they have harmed you. I hope everything works out for you. Your scars do not take from your beauty, but as a woman how we feel about ourselves is most important and I hope you heal emotionally from what they put you through, god bless!!

it looks like the chemical peel burn so deep that it burned the melanin out of the skin, which gives the skin color..You could also try using a 4% skin bleaching cream to bleach the rest of your face and blend the skin some..not sure if you thought of this. It is not permenant bleaching, but it will make you skin look pale...
Ahhapictures 1 year ago
@Ahhapictures Oh wow, I never heard of that before,,,, burning so deep that it burned the melanin out of my skin!! I will do some research on that for sure. I have been using some skin products to lighten the rest of the skin but that isn't working so well for some reason?!
tlvailco 1 year ago
@tlvailco I was going to suggest using a 4-6% Hydroquninone, Dr's strength. I used it for 6 months and it made my skin lighter, but you must keep at it. Yes, the melanin are cells in the top layer of the dermis or lower dermis, which provide our skin color and sun protection.
Ahhapictures 1 year ago
@Ahhapictures I believe I did use that but had to stop, with all the fractional and photo facials my skin was just to sensitive at the time. (always in a healing mode) The hydroquninone was by Obagi and was a liquid if I remember correctly. How did the live show go?
tlvailco 1 year ago
@tlvailco Obagi makes the hyroquinone and your right it can cause the skin to be sensitive and is only good when you are completely healed. The live show went well. It was the first time my brother performed in 10 years. This band had been together for 6 months, so this was there first live show. It was a small show. I'm now going to edit the footage for Youtube.
