Awesome passionate rendition of one of my fav songs! But what is the message this old hymn sends?

I was listening to a Pod cast this afternoon from the church I used to attend. Pastor used this great hymn to illustrate what he feels is a great misunderstanding within many other churches today.

Pastor vividly described the Apostle Peter hanging upside down on a cross. He then sang a lyric from that hymn “Every day is sweeter Peter-- than the day before you accepted Jesus”

i love this song also. i also remember when it first came out. this is one of the good church songs you can feel. "HE GETS SWEETER" this is a great song for a good choir. it still sounds good.

I love this song, but hate the fact that the CD only gives you part of the song, while the cassette gives you more, but not has much as it is here. I purchased the cassette and made a CD of it so the songs were longer.
