Her friend was having trouble with getting the chimp back into it's cage, so when she went to help her friend, the chimp retaliated and attacked her. In my opinion, no one truly DESERVES anything like this to happen. She was just helping her friend, and she lost both of her hands, and her sight... and now you see what she looks like. I think it's sad.

frankly this was her friends falt. This was a 200 pound chimp, regular size chimps have extremely strong hands and jaw. Take that and put 200 pounds on it. I don't blame the chimp at all because it was stir crazy being locked in a small cage for hours on end and not being able to move. The poor animal was only let out once or twice a day, a chimp that size has to have a large open area to play.
