  • I saw this at Occupy Melbourne.

    <3

  • Where is 16:15 ? looks crazy

  • The is not falling... :)

  • LET THE HUMAN RACE DIE FUCK THE TRIBALIST ECO_FASCISTS AND THEIR SADISTIC CHARADE CALLED COMMUNIST JARGON.

  • Please share this film with as many people as you know. Yeah, the environmental stuff is a bit heavy but the ending is a hard bit to swallow. You can't watch this film without feeling ashamed.

  • that's right, produce your own food. life is not about money

  • I don't agree with the premise. Nature is under no threat, it's gone through worse in the long history of life, mass extinctions are a normal part of nature.

The environmental movement is about saving civilisation, nature doesn't need our help it is self healing and will recover when we're extinct.

  • @mornnb youtube "two suns in the sunset." The Ionosphere, which is what HAARP screws with and uses as weapon of mass destruction--HAS HOLES IN IT! That's why occasionally you can see two suns. The atmosphere is comparable to a smear of vaseline on a bowling ball--a "membrane" that can gel-up the holes that are made. That's what holds our oxygen in and we're BURNING HOLES IN IT--->can U say Armagheddon? But the day WILL COME IT WON'T BE ABLE TO CLOSE THE HOLES!

  • does anyone remember project mayhem from fight club? im thinking its time for a militant industrial occupy movement, like say a hit team of martial artists armed with non lethal weopons storming factories, farms, banks and any other large corperate or doxic entiy. if the police use pepper spray, we should use pepper spray!

  • These people are prepared to kill people to preserve the planet for people. They think that THEY will be the survivors of this slaughter to brag to their grand children how they saved the planet from overpopulation. Let nature just do it's work, as resources become scarcer less people will reproduce.

  • So this guy wants to have food for free and complains that if he steels it from someone who did the labor to produce it, a guy with a gun shows up. But he also demonizes the producer. It all sounds rather manipulative. Do you want him to produce your food voluntarily? Than you pay the price he wants voluntarily or you go and produce food yourself.

  • @modelmark That's entirely missing the point, which is that violence and the threat of violence is a part of society and influences how you live your daily life.

  • @mornnb That statement I totally agree with, but that message came only at the end of the movie, as fascism/corporatism was discussed. After they claimed all this environmental crap. Most environmentalists have been pursuing state intervention with environmental laws. The claim that they have used non violence too long and something else is required, sounds kind of hollow. You can get killed by the state for threading on the rights of some lizard. They never protested polluter pentagon

  • @modelmark I hate the state as much as anyone, but are you saying putting pressure on the state to do something about the enviroment is wrong? The state will of course not do anything much, as it listens to the corporations not the people sadly.

  • @brownie1982ad It's like putting pressure on the mafia to improve the environment. They are heavily armed and you are a helpless tax serf, if you think you are putting pressure on them, you are mistaking.Even SOPA backoff is fake. They just figure out there is something you care about and blackmail you with it.The pentagon pollutes as much as the 4 biggest companies together, they burn as much oil as Greece. They insure nuclear plants. The SU shows you all you need to know about gvt and the env

  • Seems screwed up to me that if a man owns a classic or collectible car thats 30 years or older its considered a prize possession, yet a 300 year old tree has no regard when cut down.

  • My take is to first build self-sufficient systems of community in order to establish a free-zone that can then be duplicated and defended and expand it to re-take by cultural conquest the land from corporatism.

  • @rasikananda Yes, but how to do you establish a bank to dell with the world at large? In Switzerland there is such a place.

  • Slowing the film down would allow increased captivity of the viewer to be impacted by the actual images... I got dizzy from the movement and turned it off. Although, the message is incredibly important and powerful, we believe that a more condicuve flm format would help in your efforts.

  • @wtfrackorg totally agree with you, I'm a hardcore video editor myself, but when it's about a message as important as this one, is not the moment to play the "Cool Editor". Apart from that, really good job.

  • Why is this not closed captioned? I am profoundly Deaf and personally would like to be educated about this documentary. Please add captioning. Deaf individuals are not inferior, nor are we inept. In order for us to be educated and spread the word what we've learned, it has to be Captioned. Originally I was going to donate, but after seeing this, I cannot donate nor support any action until we can watch the documentary like everyone else.

  • @tobeadinspired Because most things in English, and on Youtube, aren't closed captioned.

  • This makes me want to take direct action.

  • Derrick Jenson is right....Resistance is inevitable...

  • To much power on the greedy people.....

  • Movements need a few key elements

    1. Principles and values in manifest or else what we are fighting for?

    2. Human psychology map / as ultimate weapon and consolidation tool

    3. Training

  • two words to solve the tree problem "use hemp"

  • Mitigating the collapse has a greater potential for overall harm reduction than allowing it to run a full course uninhibited... Therefore better preparing humanity for the transition... C.H.A.O.S.

  • Global warming is GOOD!!!! Greed is BAD!!!!

  • WTF!!! I can't help but notice everyones use of the word "they" as in "they" are de-foresting, or THEY are building citys.....YOU! ARE! A! PART! OF! HUMANITY! I don't care if you dont like it! I wold rather stay inside and watch youtube than meet ppl like that any way! With that said the people that made this are just bitching! and as another human you get that respect but.....Oh who fuckin' cares

  • @zombobby808 so it seems that you've chosen to die with the rest.

  • @zombobby808 Many of us oppose building new suburbs, exploiting nature, etc, we try to influence politicians and citizens but none seems to care.

  • @ingeborgsjon well that is a GREAT start!

  • @zombobby808 They are expressing a need for Passive and Active Revolution in this world. WE do not own this place and WE need to change the perspective that we do. Mother Earth is undergoing a parasite purge and it is necessary to keep the earth living. our way of life is impossibly unsustainable. but i'm gonna go eat some fritos...

  • the bit from Michael Becker at 31:30 is kind of a cliff notes version of Neil Evernden's book 'The Natural Alien'

  • It's a shame climate change is mentioned when there are real and pressing troubles for the environment and us to worry about and focus on

  • Greenpeace is the Revolutionary Vanguard that will lead a backward and ignorant populace to a better tomorrow.

  • I like Twinkees.

  • PEAK OIL you fkn retards still don't get it!!! THERE IS NO FKN SHORTAGE OF SOLID OR LIQUID FUELS....we have so fkn much we can burn all of the oxygen from the atmosphere. End game??? bring down the civilization??? you fkn pieces of shit you are no better than the greedy monkey ass button pushers that make those artificial crisis! Greed and depopulation is the problem of this planet and the ruling class NOT FKN OIL OR MAN KIND YOU FKN CUNT!!!!

  • Petroleum Geology, the Hubbard Peak Decline Curve, and Known Recoverable Reserve Estimations do not work that way. Goodnight!

Eco-fascists: Making green anarchists look like terrorists since 1935.

  • @PigCapitalist

Can you illustrate to me precisely what people get out of trolling? I can understand playing the Devil's advocate for the sake of refining ones arguments (and hopefully the opposition gets to know the score at some point), but this is pretty obvious trolling, so please help me out here.

1-5combo, I'm looking at you too, just in case you would like to post a serious response without being a dildo. Thanks for nothing in advance, guys, since I know exactly how this is going to go.

  • @Allpovvertoslaves

While I tend to troll quite a bit, that comment wasn't meant to be taken as trolling. It's quite obvious to anyone that who has studied anarchist theory that an action like the one Jensen suggests is not only antithetical to anarchism, but fascistic in nature. Terrorism, which is the only label that can be given to blowing up a dam, belongs in the authoritarian side of the spectrum and its motivations are disgustingly petit-bourgeois.

  • @PigCapitalist

I take the acceptance of ideas so repulsively anti-humanistic and anti-libertarian as those of Jensen, et al, into the anarchist sphere as a testament to the tragic state of anarchism in the U.S

  • @PigCapitalist It's only "fascistic" if you have no fucking clue what fascism is. And yeah, his tactics are questionable, but not for the reason you think.

  • @vaguelyhumanoid

You're right, I have no clue what fascism is. I just spun my "Crazy Ideologies" wheel and applied what came out to Jensen. Read their texts, specifically those that try to develop their own "dialectic", e.g. Zerzan, Watson, et al. Believe it or not, even those that troll on occasion get tired of dealing with the incredible amount of philosophically pre-pubescent individuals pretending to know what they're talking about. It takes a whole department to deal with all of you.

  • @PigCapitalist I think Zerzan is a crazy mothafucka. Watson says some good things but he's kind of a dick.

  • @PigCapitalist

Thanks! However, I believe you've made a false association there. If a stone has been taken from a landbase and its form manipulated (perverted) so that it becomes harmful to that landbase (worse yet if it was imported), it is not NECESSARILY terrorism, or fascistic, or in any way political to once again reform that stone to alleviate that harm. Forgive me, but your problem here exactly may be that you're too enured to or have studied too much anarchist "theory."

  • these is a very dark and quite disturbing, but ultimately accurate picture of the state of the world at large since we europeans conquered the last big, truly free and beautiful place on our planet.

  • The zeistgeist movement and the venus project do have a plan to stop all this bullshit. Do a research and join if you want.

  • Civilization is not the problem, our current form of civilization is. If we put all of our effort into developing a fully sustainable technological society with the goals of optimal resource management and distribution we wouldn't have these problems. This will never happen within a monetary system, because of the inherent disregard of resources in the pursuit of profit.

The solution (technological sustainable society) is described in detail in Zeitgeist Moving Forward.

    /watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

  • @IHighLikePlane No. You are wrong.Civilization MUST END. PERIOD.

  • Anarchy means real change. The disorder attributed to anarchy is really established by capitalism as an order based on criminal exploitation, injustice and irresponsability.

    Power to the people!

  • We need the Ents!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If we continue in this way, only the alarm will survive... and for a short time.

  • USA is the main problem

  • Totally agree. We need to man up and fight back.

  • GREAT SUB FROM CVEITCH...

  • For anyone that has not connected the final dot..... this is it, Join the resistance, JENSEN , Ron Paul and the people NOW THERE'S A BRIGHT FUTURE....

  • fantastic documentary really good philosophy great job man keep up the good work

  • What I want to know is what I need to do to help.

How I do I help the change?

  • @nodoubtfan1516 The Zeitgeist movement has a plan and growing numbers. I myself am a member and i think its the way we should continue. RBE economy.

  • @nodoubtfan1516 ....They never provide any....all they do is tell you how evil and bad you are...

  • Ah, this looks like some terrible green propaganda. They've been screaming about disaster forever; guess what? Humans become more efficient every year. When fossil fuels become scarce, the price mechanism will allow for other sources to replace them.

    Chill out.

  • @SPQRomantic Are you blind? Haven't you seen all the disasters, whether man-made or because of "natural" causes?

  • @gasto5 Did disasters not occur before this? lol

  • @SPQRomantic Not at the current scale.

  • @gasto5 [Citation needed]

  • @SPQRomantic I am not going to waste time with you. The moment I send you a link, you'll come back and write: "that's biased, blah blah blah". If you want the citation go search for it. We are in the internet search engine era.

  • @gasto5 Here, I did it for you. Decline in disasters from 2000 to 2010. This is mostly a meaningless conversation because it isn't like humans create tornados, tsunamis, or earthquakes. I have a feeling you've got no idea what you are trying to argue for. Basic science kids, correlation =\= causation.

    environmentalgraffiti /meteorology/news-decade-natural-disasters

  • @SPQRomantic Who the fck is talking about environmental disasters exclusively. Are you stupid, with atention spam disorder, or just playing stupid? We have some serious economical problems in the whole fcking globe, stop pretending everything is all right, you cynical coward, I bet when the time comes of hunger you'll eat your own family to stay alive.

  • @SPQRomantic Who the fck is talking about environmental disasters exclusively. Are you stupid, with attention spam disorder, or just playing stupid? We have some serious economical problems in the whole fcking globe, stop pretending everything is all right, you cynical coward, I bet when the time comes of hunger you'll eat your own family to stay alive.

  • @SPQRomantic attention span disorder. I bet you will firstly try to correct grammar. You predictable meaningless multicellular humanoid.

  • @gasto5 Congrats on proving yourself sub-80 IQ

  • This has a lot of fear mongering in it...although we do need to change there are still over 161,000 protected areas in the world (as of October 2010) with more added daily, representing over 13 percent of the world's land surface area. These areas cannot be used to build on, cut, destroy anything in it, you cant even take a rock from it. So were not FUCKED,although much change is needed.

  • @coopmuch56 Until the resources run dry, then the protection will be bypassed and that land will be raped aswell.

  • @theflamesembrace What do you mean run dry, 20% of the worlds energy is renewable and its only going to get larger with this environment movement. Fossil fuels will one day run dry, but you can create bio-diesal with algea and its just as effective, works in any diesal engine without modification and puts out 80% less toxins in the air. There are even steroids for trees to make them grow way bigger, faster so trees are renewable. 1/3 of land is still covered by trees

  • Additionally, I want to criticize this documentary where it was using appeals to nature. The idea that if something does not appear in nature it must be wrong or evil is illogical because it could apply to anything unique about humans. For example, that same argument could be used to say that clothes, shaving, glasses, writing, and many other regular human things are wrong because they do not exist elsewhere in nature. Unsustainable practices are bad, but unnatural ones are not.

  • That being said, violence and peaceful protest can both be useful tools in the correct circumstances. But we have to be VERY careful about what circumstances it is okay to enact violence, if there is a way to effectively do the same thing peacefully.

  • Trying to say that peaceful protest does not enact social change just because there were violent parts of the most successful examples of "peaceful" protest does not somehow negate the usefulness of the peaceful protest. Just because there was violence fighting for the same thing at the same time DOES NOT mean that the work of Gandhi and Martin Luther King. jr was ineffective, merely that there were also violent acts protesting the same thing.

  • good video up to 59:59. CO2 is not a poison, but the life blood of this planet. MAN MADE global warming is a political fraud. The entire solar system is heating up, not just earth. watch?v=YaTJJCPYhlk ... That said, deforestation is sick and wrong. Pollution is disgusting and unnecessary. But the global warming myth is about political power, not environmentalism. Al Gore will rot in hell for the fraud he has perpetrated

  • This is the only youtube video you'll ever need to watch! Fabulous, thanks for uploading it.

Fact! People have been conned into thinking that the best action is peaceful resistance. Fight to save the planet

If peaceful resistance is the best we can do, then the planet earth is already dead!

The line was actually crossed many many years ago.

  • I don't think a video has resonated with all elements of my thinking in such a way before. Great work and I'll definitely be looking for those books.

  • 5:23 ... FWAP!

  • Just finished reading Derrick Jensen's books - Endgame, Part 1 and 2. I have to agree...the current industrial economic system is not sustainable, it's only resolution is to run out of resources and then collapse. This is fact, this is simple basic truth. Continuing to support this method of 'civilization' is only going to cause a very messy and ultimately uneccessary collapse. We can avoid this...please research the Venus Project for more information.

  • @mdlittle5466 FUCK THE VENUS PROJECT. The answer is anarchy, not a dictatorship collectivist society run by scientists instead of politicians. These scientists, with their rigid thought processes are a large part of why technologies are being suppressed. Anything that is subjective rather than objective is labeled as pseudoscience by these people. The other reason, of course is the power elite don't want the masses to have such technology. Technology that would free us from oil would ruin profits

  • @MUSLIMSareCHOMOS An RBE is not a dictatorship, it is a stateless leaderless society where anyone can participate in decision making. Isn't that pretty much the definition of anarchy?

In an RBE most people would be scientifically minded. That means people will be skeptical of things that cannot be tested, because that is the best way to get accurate knowledge. Science is just a methodology and a way at looking at the world.

Most of our high standard of living is due to this simple concept.

  • @IHighLikePlane IT IS A UTOPIAN TECHNOCRACY for an idea of what the venus project really is, watch Logan's Run... "Science is a methodology and way of looking at the world" fully aware of the scientist world view and am sickened by it. Tell a scientist about chaos theory or any SUBJECTIVE science, and they will call you a pseudoscientist. COLD FUSION IS REAL, but scientists suppress the idea because it seems to violate the known laws of physics. also look up theosophy.. Peter Joseph knows it wel

  • @MUSLIMSareCHOMOS Wasn't it scientists who discovered Cold Fusion in the first place? Wasn't it also a scientist who formulated chaos theory?

You are mistaking scientists and the method of science with our current mainstream scientific establishments (which I hate just as much as you). When an entire industry and billions of dollars is devoted towards one theory, and they get proven wrong or a more efficient way is found (cold fusion) of course those institutions will reject it.

  • @IHighLikePlane The Venus Project is Agenda 21 NWO bullshit. Here's some video evidence of that. Peter Joseph praising H.G. wells' book New World Order, and calling "truthers" idiots who bore him watch?v=F-DFMnQ5v4o . A little course on Agenda 21, just in case you've never heard of it watch?v=TzEEgtOFFlM . StormCloudsGathering rant saying you are a cult and unscientific set to funny still shots watch?v=-8-3tmBv4Bo . The Venus Project IS Logan's Run watch?v=KPB2qD6GjGE
  • @IHighLikePlane scientists are mistaking mainstream method with establishment... the chaos theory, I believe, wasdeveloped by mathematicians.

does this guy look or act like a scientist?

    watch?v=fg4_c7InHrI

colleges are indoctrination/ brainwashing centers. people don't need a science degree to have a brain or be an inventor and change the world... in fact, it may even impede good ideas and thoughts.

  • @MUSLIMSareCHOMOS Mathematics is a branch of science.

Again, I fully agree, that is why many great scientists dropped out of school (Einstein, Edison, Wright Bros., etc.). Being a scientist doesn't mean that you have a degree from an institutional educational system, it just means that you test your ideas and draw reasonable conclusions from the results (until a better explanation comes along). The problems occur when large corporations have financial interests in the results of those tests.

  • @mdlittle5466,

No. It's not a fact. If we rely on certain resources, and those resources are truly running out, there is a huge profit incentive to discover new sources, alternative resources and uses for alternative resources. Your assumption that all resources will run out in the near future is false. As long as there is a universe containing potential energy, there are resources. The only problem is government, which prevents business from reacting naturally to changes in supply and demand.

  • @truthadvocate Wow...so you're appending the ideology of 'unlimited resources' on a finite planet - interesting, I'd love to see proof of this (...prior to the collapse...), but I know you won't be able to. Thanks for your comment, though...it was quite insightful (...and entirely nonsensical...).

  • @mdlittle5466,

I said we will not run out of resources "in the near future." I did not say "resources on this planet will last until the end of time." There's a big difference.

If all resources run out tomorrow, it's a big deal. If they run out millions of years from now, it's not. By that time humans will either be extinct for other reasons or colonizing space. Can you predict when all the resources accessible on earth will run out? The timeline is important, don't you think?

  • @truthadvocate Regardless of what timeline you elect to append...without considering the importance of sustainable coexistance within our environment - it might as well be "in the near future" that we run out of resources, for if we continue to take more then return...today, tomorrow or a million years from now - we'll run out...and that's a very big deal, regardless of whether or not it'll affect you doing your lifetime: it will affect your children...so it'd be good to think about THAT. Agree?

  • @mdlittle5466

The Venus Project is just another attempt to "Manage Resources". Let's suppose that resource is you. Do you feel like you need a manager ? Do you feel like being exploited ? Cut down in a rational fashion ? Grown ?

TVP is based on the same distinction that all life is a resource, there for us to exploit to suit our needs... there is no purpose for it beyond our own.

If you read those books you should have understood why that is doomed to fail, as life does not exist just for us!

  • @stg213 I concured that Mr. Jensen's perceptions of the current socio-economic paradigm and agree that it must change, but we must establish a higher degree of understanding. We have the means to resolve all the current existing problems through science and technology - regressing is an answer, but not the best answer. There's nothing wrong with wanting to return to a more primitive lifestyle if you so choose, with the Venus Project...it's actually possible.

  • @mdlittle5466

I agree that TVP is possible, for a while... If you actually adapt your economic system to the "resources" available... instead of supposing they're infinite... yeah... it's a step forward.

Problem is, and was from the beginning, that life has not evolved to "play nice" and fit a particular model you want it to follow. It's a system, and not a "rational" system like TVP, rational only in the sense that it follows a rationalization of ownership and control.

  • @stg213 The Venus Project never considered resources as being infinite...that is the old-way of looking at things when mankind still believed the world was flat. The Venus Project's sole purpose is to ensure and adaptable system capable of changing along with the data/resources available. Again, you append a more primitive ideology as a solution when it's clearly unnecessary. Still, your desire to live primitively is not denied via the Venus Project...you can live off in the wilderness.

  • @mdlittle5466

"The Venus Project never considered resources as being infinite" -> never said it did, read again pls...

I actually know RBE, and TVP, surprisingly I've learned about the "primitive ideology" through the TZM forum. My point is another... and i don't seem to be able to explain it in under 500 chars... I'm speaking about the mentality of owners, of custodians, of managers... of something that doesn't need, like or benefit from our "management".

  • @stg213 "If you actually adapt...instead of supposing they're infinite"...no, you didn't 'say'...you only inferred, which is just as inaccurate. If you researched TVP/TZM they you know that it is the MISMANAGEMENT of finite resources through the profit-driven nature of the monetary based economy.

  • @mdlittle5466

ok, lemme rephrase what I actually meant:

    current system = mismanagement

    TVP = good (adapted) management

my point = no management is necessary

(or put differently, any attempt to manage something that is self regulating is like saying "we don't like the sun rising in the morning so we're going to change earths orbit... who cares that species that depend on the sun rising each 24 hours... we like 48h days" -> to introduce management into an already "self-managed" system is silly)

  • @stg213 On that, we both agree...no external management is necessary. TVP/TZM support that ideology. However, allow me to make a correction. 'Adapted management' is not accurate, to be more precise...it is symbiotic collaboration with the natural environment through science and technology. They do not profess to force anyone to live (i.e. - be managed) in any particular way, even those who do not append TVP/TZM are accepted as is. Restoring sustainability of all things is the goal of TVP/TZM.

  • 1:05:14 the greenhonet ,what wtf is just still a killing masine no more no les.

  • Today's society was built on the premise of failing on purpose. When the world economy collapses( and it will eventually), there will be chaos and destruction. When the smoke has cleared the same people that created the problem on purpose ( the ELITE!) will try to blame it on us(the civilian majority). They will say that the world is the way it is now is because of you! The truth is you are the way you are because these manipulators have manipulated you into the way they want you to be, sheep

  • well done!

  • Holy mother of crap could those words have gone any faster?

  • Anyone here?

  • nice to see they made it public. I bought the DVD to support SMTV. People really need to watch this with an open mind and not just refute it immediately without even considering the potential validity of the claims. Total changing everything about how we live is no easy feat and the challenge of that - on an individual level, will be hard to swallow for man, and it runs counter to what most people have been taught about life, society - the "purpose" of both, etc.

  • we are fucked. we've evolved and adapted to a way of life not found in nature. when the bubble bursts, we will stave while infected with super viruses we helped bolster. laws and social order will cease to exist and our primal, violent instincts that helped our ancestors survive in the wild will demolish any resemblance of what we perceive today as civilization. then we will slowly die off, like the dinosaurs. there is no stopping it, its become human nature... unless miracles do exist.

  • (A) we all need to do something, use the means you already know, become a hacktivist, a street protester, a lawyer to help those getting arrested, anything you already know how to do can help the resistance against the worse evil the earth has seen...

  • @rek2gnulinux go to facebook event. php?eid = 143740342359967

  • The system is tearing itself apart trying to keep itself together. Bankrupt from overly investing in false premises, false pretenses and false dilemmas. Failure is inevitable.

  • Corporate greed makes me sick! Posted to truth forums for sharing. When o when a people going to wake up and stop this.
