To be fair, no one knows what the dog is looking at and I don't think it shows "no control". However, as a rule, it's best not to engage in this kind of tug of war stuff with any dog too long, esp. a strong one. What's the first thing you do when someone tugs you one way, you tug the other. If you can walk your dog off leash and he doesn't leave your side, that's nice. But for most people living in urban areas leash training is a must and it's a pain to be dragged around by your dog. peace.

@droBlizziE420 as a former pit owner...I know it's not fair to pits (because of people fear/stereotyping) but do we as dog owners need pits to be called "monsters" lovingly? Regardless of how powerful any dog is...the owner shouldn't be getting an arm workout "trying to hold his dog". Walking a big, strong dog isn't about physical strength.

Its a matter of time before your dog bites someone. It isnt that hard to train a pit , but the biggest part that people forget is patience. If you take time and assert yourself as the one in control then your dog has no option. All this can be done without ever having to hit your dog. Its a real nice dog in the video...

@UNKNOW7V, he sure does. First off, none of mine will pull on the leash. I am the pac leader, and they all know that. Each member of my family is a pac leader, and they know that.I can take my pits and Amstaffs around people and dogs, and they remain calm. It is never too late to correct your method. It is not the dog at fault, but rather the owners. It's not really dogs that need the training, but rather the people.
