@rehndawg I saw those riots live on CNN and Fox News in December 2001. People banging on pots and pans and people vandalizing banks. They didnt spend much time on it but we also had a lot of news happening here in late 2001. But they definitely reported the December riots. Good luck to Argentina, politicians and foreign interests have been plundering their nation for the last 35 years. It's a shame.
erichie is not referring to elections. He's talking about sustainability of our way of life. He's right. We have outsourced our survival. That makes us vulnerable. We have no "plan b". It's this way of life or no life at all. We need a plan b. Redefine our needs and means to meet them.
People need to stop being angry and take personal responsibility for the sustainability of their way of life. You can't keep blaming politicians for selling you a lie. You bought into it and kept buying into it and ultimately pay the consequence. People need to grow up fast. No one is going to save you but yourself.
So have you taken personal responsibility that the US have forfeited their national sovereignty to private financial institutions, even though it is a decision taken quite a few decades ago? I doubt you think whatever happens to your country is purely dependent on whether you vote Democrat or Republican. It goes to show that you cannot always undo decade old practices with a single vote. It's a moot point however, I guess the next US crisis isn't all that far down the road...
People have fought over resources since the beginning of time and will continue to fight over resources until the end of time. Nothing new. Same thing is going to happen all over the world including North America, Europe, and Asia. Classic rich vs. poor. If people buy into a ponzi scheme system all their lives, why are they surprised or angry about the outcome? Its their fault for not having the knowledge/intelligence to understand if their way of life is sustainable or unsustainable. Good luck!
That still doesn't make it ethical or as some people would call it: "right". Nor is it the accepted behavior of any civilized nation to take the people you're supposed to represent for a ride, while letting foreign interests pillage your homeland. To justify it by simply saying that "that's the way the modern world works" is bull.
I think our ancestors have taught us, at least, that much. If there is reason to strive for anything, it's for opposing exactly this mindset.
Right now the US is destabilizing the American People need to wake up the the fact that they need to do something now to stop a full scale social collapse I only pray that the New America will be a Free one.
@blkhat117 I lived in USA and if there is somebody to deserve a good living are you people. I spent wonderful times there just because the people I knew. God Bless America. I hope you the best.
I´m 23 , when this happened I was 13 and i didn´t understand what was happening totally, but I remember the faces of my parents.. Now I can understand everything, this fucked economic system is the really and true problem of all Humanity, i don´t believe in the money system, i don´t believe in the Capitalism, I DON´T BELIEVE IN THE FUCKED GLOBALIZATION OF THE MONEY AND THE COMPANIES, the governments of the world have to know: WE WANT A NEW WORLD ORDER FOR THE PEOPLE NOT FOR THE CORPORATIONS!
Conclusion: ALL countries can print up their own "money" backed up by gold and silver, DEBT FREE AND INTEREST FREE! Watch The Secret of Oz: Solutions For a Broken Economy, The Money Masters, Money as Debt I and II, The Creature From Jekyll Island. ABOLISH THE PRIVATE FEDERAL RESERVE, THE IMF, AND THE WORLD BANK!!!
Αν εθελούσια δεν γονατίσεις, ούτε νεκρό δεν μπορούν να σε γονατίσουν - If you dont bow down by your own will..they cant make u bow even if you are dead.KEEP YOUR HEAD HIGH BROTHERS!!!Greece Argentina US Ireland Iceland...Globalistas are here...Lets make them pay dearly for what they have in mind!!!
@FriendlyGeekClassics Hellas, Argentina or Ireland aren't thieves...The thieves are the banks, the multinational companies and the Great Powers (USA, Germany etc - i mean the governments not the simple people) who forced us to borrow money from them in order to buy their fucking weapons!!!...All the people have to unite against these economical tyrannts and against their fucking plan of establishing a global government....
@APPHTON123PHTON Roger that from argentina. We need to change this fucking sistem, its like a difficult game which only a few countries wins and the rest fuck them selves and die hungry,
Thats Capitalism, a fucking, awful and really difficult game. AND I DONT THINK THAT IN REAL LIFE WE COULD DEPEND ABOUT NUMBERS, AND FUCKING HEADS WHO GOBERNATES THE WORLD. Its not fair
There is a simple solution to this that would keep it from happening anywhere else ever again. Allow all citizens the right to own guns and secondly make taking bribe or lobbying money by a politician an act of high treason and put them to death.
This Governmental Rape of proud Citizens is REVOLTING & MUST never happen again, anywhere! Too bad Argentineans have not demanded their GOD-GIVEN-RIGHTS to defend themselves against Tyranny with their own 2nd Amendment/Right to bear arms! This WILL happen again if they do not acknowledge their GOD-GIVEN-RIGHTS to own guns! Menem, & all of the other Devils that planned & performed this Rape of Argentina should be publicly executed by the People as the only reasonable deterrent to future Tyrants!
The IMF arrived here into Ireland last November and imposed more of the same strict austerity measures, our pathetic and treasonous government laid all our banks debt, who owe the money to international bondholders, on to the Irish taxpayer. And just to be extra nice the European Central bank imposed a 5.8% rate on the debt . . all to be paid back by the average Irish citizen, the EU are beginning to show their true colors . .

The IMF (International Monetary Fund) is a Jewish world bank. The foreign corporations that plundered Argentina are probably all controlled by jews. The jews are the real reason that all of this happened to Argentina. Yes there were Argentinian traitors, but they were merely accomplices to the jews. Jews have been using usury to plunder nations since ancient times. This is nothing new. This is why they have been kicked out of nations nearly 100 times throughout history.
AMericans will never ever realize that Outsourcing to INDIA made them Jobless, Americans never realize that so called zionist Jews are plundering their country infront of them and they are watching how angelina jolies pussy Looks or what is in Britneys Butt hole .
LOL..Americans are Royally screwed by Jews and Indian Immigrants, USA will be a Jobless Nation as most Jobs go to India and USA will become THIRD WORLD as Jews will Migrate to CHINA this time to Plunder CHINA
Have Menem and De la Rua been shot by a firing squad? That is the only happy ending to this story.
The Neoliberal criminals of the world need to be assassinated, one by one. They are the scum of the Earth! Assessinos! Torturaduras! We the people will take control of the earth and send them to the hell where they belong.
Get in the streets like the brave Argentinian people and make the Neoliberal scum quake with fear! They are THE SCUM! WE ARE THE PEOPLE! VIVA EL PUEBLO! VIVA! VIVA! VIVA!
The Argentine people were lied to screwed over for no reason,if the politicians and bankers created treason to that calibre, all they deserve is death by hanging, usury is also a crime
and think that after all this when menem try to be the president once again he got 50% of the votes, it went to ballotage, and kirchner won because he quite!
@majo271010 It was in 2003, he barely got 22% (which, after all that happened, was a pretty much, but some people at the time didn't realized that the blow-up with De la Rua was greatly Menem's fault). He didn't continue to the ballotage because he knew 78% of Argentina would vote for Kirchner (His opponent). A coward move on his side, he didn't want to face defeat. But one thing's for sure, he never got anywhere near 50%.
great song@ 0:34.. i noticed in this movie that the people protesting had great unity & knew exactly who the enemy was.. unlike in america where u have races against each other which only benefits the New World Order..i see a lot of social issues in america that resemble this collapse..slowly but surely:( scary..
citi bank is the kost evil bank there is. if you have money in it close and open one in a small local bank. if you have stocks in it sell it. P j morgan wrote the federal reserve of 1913 and we have 96% dollar devaluation ever since.
The unity of the people fighting back and celebrating together is the most beautiful thing i have seen...i havent felt like crying for the past 4 years and this film has really set off my emotion..im very sad and very angry. My heart goes out to all of us and the Argentines and the entire world which is currently being destroyed by the monetary system..!!!..:(
oh my god!!!u are heroes in Argentina..now it is our turn....give us ur wishes!! we born democracy only we can defend this!!i am greek and i am proud of the riots in may 2010 in Athens..
@spikeargentina Al contrario.Viene alguien a comprarme algo.
@tz743 I don't agree with you.Our economy is a close one, so we don't depend of oversea-made products. Our collapse happened because we opened our economy, and a crazy Minister fixed the exchange in a peso for a dollar, that could never be real, because the internal product of Argentina is far lower than USA's.And my dog still eats meat everyday, though I'm a simple self employed hand-worker
I watched this documentary because I wanted see if it would help me figure out a way to navigate through what I believe will be the U.S.'s economic collapse. I wanted to see what I could do to come out ahead. After watching this I now want to figure out how I can postion myself to help others if/when this happens in the U.S.
Banks sure have raised the gangster/ mafia stakes to cosmological proportions.
I really should nt be so surprised i guess current economic law makes it mandatroy that psychopaths(clinical term not abuse these are geniuely sick indivudals who need medical psycholoical care and treatment)
run business and government, the proof: only someone utterly divorced from reality can live with themselves and happily continue with this insanity.
It is amazing how us in America are totally ignorant of the suffering which has taken place in the land of our southern neighbor, Argentina. I see major correlations between the corruption and plundering of the Argenttineans with what is happening in America. The sad thing is that America is being robbed far worse than Argentina, and yet most Americans are still blind. In America, the corrupt govt. covers it up better. Americans are well armed, unlike Argentians.....rebellion could get ugly.
the greatest thing about the agentinians is that they NEVER GIVE UP!!! They will continue to fight for their rights until they get them!!! They lead by example on what all countries should be doing to get this scum out of all our lives, because they are in all countries!!!
Just watched the whole thing. I'm afraid when this happens in the US, the protests will be much more bloody and violent. From what I see here the population of Argentina is unarmed, but most Americans are armed and some heavily. This is happening in the US now, but they are being sneakier and careful about it probably because reason of the armed citizens.
@SouthernKudzu they are not being sneakier or more careful, the american people are far more distracted and more unaware than the argintinian people were through out all of this so it is being done in the open in the states. there is a major difference between watching John Wayne or Swarzeneggar being tough in the movies and being tough yourself, they are not afraid of an armed america, the people will prove to be incapable of organized resistance, the guns will quickly be silenced. very sad...
@usernamenotreserved I agree, it's a slight of hand taking place keeping us distracted w/news stories & political party mudslinging. You are right; the majority people just aren't paying attention. I disagree, w/ the gov being unafraid of the armed public and the willingness of the public to use their weapons. You underestimate what starving people are willing to do and I think our gov is very afraid of of what starving people will be willing to do.
@SouthernKudzu I hope you are right in your assesment, there is a peaceful way out of this through the electorate and we must try to move forward in a reasoned, legal way or we will reduce ourselves to thier level and in that event what would be the point. To replace one group of tyrants with another would be a waste of time.
@usernamenotreserved Agreed, I'm hoping thru movements such as our Tea Party and educated voting this will all work out. I have small children and wish for no bloodshed, but there are many I talk to who have agreed they'd be will to take up arms if it came to it and in support, so would I. I don't want to see my children starving and suffering as I saw in this video. It's very scary and I try to stay positive. Thanks for the conversation.
@SouthernKudzu I wish you and the family well, in Switzerland they vote on everything at the local level so the federal government is forced to represent the people, Peter Schiff recommends investment in Switzerland, Norway and Swedan, no accident, all of these countries are governed by the people. We were once set up that way in America and it is that which we must restore. Max Kaiser was joking with Alex the other day when he said all was rosy in europe, it is not, they face the same problems.
This will serve as an education of what happened in Argentina. What happened in Argentina will happen in America but it might be more violent I fear. It's not just the United States, it will happen global wide. Kryzgstan was also the beginning. Greece may turn ugly soon. Urban Warfare, Guns,Ammo, Gold, Food and water. Food and water are important. Gun and Ammo are the secondary part. Jewelery is also a backup for money. The political division in America is going to lead to heavy violence.
That's correct. I think America is going to revolution that's similar to the French Revolution but only bigger. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! 2.0: When the rich get more richer and the poor get more shit. The middle class forms into freedom movement factions and militias dedicated to put the rich and financial elitists to the ground. Some will be defeated and some will be on their way to the road to victory. It will happen globally soon. The people are fed up with the bankers.
i remember that days, buenos aires seemed to be in civil war, walked through the streets to demand and fight with police, if this bastard could not destroy us, none can
Sorry to say, there is not "Economic collapse" in Argentina. What's going on there is complete moral collapse. People refuse to organize and fight against pirats. They blame the government and everybody knows there is "No government" in Argentina. Just Pirat banks, and criminal organizations controlling everything.. Army, police, The Vatican state, against Argentinians that blame "The government" that never existed..
As an Argentine, I thank all who have watched the documentary and have pity on us. If the realities are silimares in your countries, I ask you to have faith and hope. You have the ability to be strong and create a better tomorrow. Have faith.
@asteris78 Thank you. And you must be strong. By the news that reaches us, it is possible that you run the same situation. Right now, we are a lot better, but there is still a long road ahead. Be strong, and keep your faith strong, because if the people are united, nothing will lie you down. The people united will never be defeated.

People need to stop being angry and take personal responsibility for the sustainability of their way of life. You can't keep blaming politicians for selling you a lie.

Good luck!
erichie85 8 months ago

That still doesn't make it ethical or as some people would call it: "right". Nor is it the accepted behavior of any civilized nation to take the people you're supposed to represent for a ride, while letting foreign interests pillage your homeland. To justify it by simply saying that "that's the way the modern world works" is bull.
I think our ancestors have taught us, at least, that much. If there is reason to strive for anything, it's for opposing exactly this mindset.

SouthernKudzu 1 year ago
@SouthernKudzu they are not being sneakier or more careful, the american people are far more distracted and more unaware than the argintinian people were through out all of this so it is being done in the open in the states. there is a major difference between watching John Wayne or Swarzeneggar being tough in the movies and being tough yourself, they are not afraid of an armed america, the people will prove to be incapable of organized resistance, the guns will quickly be silenced. very sad...
usernamenotreserved 1 year ago 2
@usernamenotreserved I agree, it's a slight of hand taking place keeping us distracted w/news stories & political party mudslinging. You are right; the majority people just aren't paying attention. I disagree, w/ the gov being unafraid of the armed public and the willingness of the public to use their weapons. You underestimate what starving people are willing to do and I think our gov is very afraid of of what starving people will be willing to do.
SouthernKudzu 1 year ago
@SouthernKudzu I hope you are right in your assesment, there is a peaceful way out of this through the electorate and we must try to move forward in a reasoned, legal way or we will reduce ourselves to thier level and in that event what would be the point. To replace one group of tyrants with another would be a waste of time.
usernamenotreserved 1 year ago
@usernamenotreserved Agreed, I'm hoping thru movements such as our Tea Party and educated voting this will all work out. I have small children and wish for no bloodshed, but there are many I talk to who have agreed they'd be will to take up arms if it came to it and in support, so would I. I don't want to see my children starving and suffering as I saw in this video. It's very scary and I try to stay positive. Thanks for the conversation.
