@alisonclaree Just get the idea from the body language of the pup that it is not at all happy. It also seems to be limping somewhat on it's rear right.
The speed at which the dog replies to commands is usually a giveaway. Notice how slow the dog acts out the "down" command. If it was happy to work for the trainer it would not lose eye contact and would be down almost immediately.
I hope the dog was look after and trained in a humane manner, To me though, This footage implies not.
@Simplemindedgenius that may be true but all dogs are different, just as people, and therefore some are more awkward etc. and dogs hurt themselves doing silly things all the time, for example my dog used to constantly climb up and jump off high things when we first got her, she hurt herself a couple of times. plus i think the reason the dog is reacting slowly is because it doesn't seem that interested in the activity, most people use treats to get a quicker reaction, but this man doesn't
@spicke010 no, u see its the owner being really relaxed so the dog adopts the owners demeanor, if he were to get worked up and get some game into that dog it would be fine, dogs are never lazy unless theyre told/taught to be
The dog looks absolutely petrified of you. What have you been doing to him?? If he had a tail it would be firmly between his legs.

Awesome video. How long per day did you spend teaching this Rott in order for him to be this good?

you repeat your command too often. once your mutt understands the command it should only be said once, same goes with the miss.
