zx cvars are useless at fast mini's the fastest mini in the world is stuart meads, and there is no mini running 8's but cyclone motorsportss mini and stuarts are both capable so cant wait till next mini showdown, hopefully z cars will be there this year to compete against the best

they make fast ones but the fastest is the v8 chevy engined mini and i think that can run 8's but i'm not sure

i like em and enjoy watchin and racing with em next season shud be great. there build quaility is supurb and looking at them at the nec they are getting better.

unfortunatly these cars dont do so well on the track 1300cc a series steel bodied mini still wipes the floor with them.

i easyly beat one <the one in the vid i think> in my A series metro wots more is that i only had 3 gears

Just to get our facts right..

A Monte Carlo reaches 60mph in less than 3 seconds, reaches 100mph in about 7 seconds, can go from 100mph-stop in less than 4s, and has a top speed of over 150mph.

If you have a A-series powered Mini that can beat these specs then fair play to you, you must be either quite very rich, or have the best engine builder in the world.

Either that or it wasn't a Monte Carlo you was racing...

it was a busa powered mini didnt beat em all olny one has eva beat me.

yes it was a very fast mini thousands and thousands spent on it never beaten by another

as for the metro its the fastest 1400 steel bodied car in britain it has times all over that were set 10 + years ago still cannot be beaten

a mig will do 60 in 4 seconds 100 in 11-12 so yes its slower. fact

the lap rec at cadwell for a mig is 1.39 the lap record for the fastest z car mini is 1.41 so were is this slow a series mini getting its times from corner speed fact

so if a mig was able to run say a 7 port 8 port twin cam etc give it bigger brakes cut some body work away change some suspension it would be even faster fact so lets give a mig some credit for being a better car.

Wich type of gearbox is installed in the car ?

The gearbox looks to be the integral sequential motorbike box. The output sprocket I imagine will lead to a chain which will drive the diff, then putting the power to the rear wheels. The whole conversion is done by the company "Z cars" who will have a website if you google it.
