Wow. They are such wonderful dancers. When and where did this performance take place and who were Myrtha and Giselle? I wish there wre a DVD of this performance.
@dswhung. There indeed is a DVD of this memorable performance of 1983. IMO it is the best Giselle ever captured on film, to this day. Galina Mezentseva was a sublime Giselle and Tatiana Terekhova's Myrtha was unbelievable. Very recently Ekaterina Kondaurova of the Mariinsky has given us a Myrtha to almost match the power and majesty of Terekhova's performance.
The annoying clapping sound ruins the experience. It's like there's thunder or crashes going on at the same time.
