Oh yeah :D And Blake wasn't the lead singer of the old Versa. That was Spencer. And they didn't alter their sound one bit.

i really like this ep! even though they kinda changed their sound from perceptions, it was a good change, and i get what you said when you listen to the songs you feel like you're in another place thing, i felt that too! i love listening to it before i go to bed. its my lullaby. i think my fave track would be whisperer. there's just something about that song that gives me chills. i dont know if its the clever musicality of the song or the great vocals on top.

although i love versaemerge , im not a huge fan of their new album. their sound dosent sound as good as it did in perceptions. i was a bit dissapointed on their new ep.

hey man, im not trying to pick, but these guys aren't even close to saosin or circa survive though, and based on what they've produced so far, they will never be. it's funny though, because i can put money on the fact that versaemerge will definitely become bigger than saosin and circa survive because of their label. cierra (spelling?) will be every 13 year old girl's obsession in 3 years. this ep is an improvement from perceptions, but that's not really saying much :P

i can guarantee fueled by ramen will not push them as much as their other acts. their success will be determined by their talent and that alone. and it's my opinion they resemble circa and saosin and actually a little receving end of sirens too. either way, i fucking love this band.

I checked them out and they are good. I kind of get sort of a vibe of the "theatrics" like you said from some of the Dear Hunter's songs. I don't know it might just be me but have you heard them before?

yeah he quit the receiving end of sirens becuase he wanted to do something different hence the dear hunter. but the receiving end of sirens recently broke up :( I like TREOS first cd better anyways(with Casey who started the dear hunter) but I love the dear hunter

i loved the planning a prison...,the evidence, and broadcast quality. from the new one i love Oubliette (Disappear) and smoke and mirrors. great band too.

all those songs are great. I love all the songs on the cd Between the Heart and the Synapse(with Planning a Prison break,The Evidence and Broadcast Quality). It's to bad they broke up but at least The Dear Hunter is still around
