i have the same one but it has a s10 body. im cureently making a new chassis and putting in crawler motors and making into a mud truck. with my XL5 esc and all the goodies, but what shocked me is that these radio shack trucks have metal steering knucles and links, dogbones and yokes, and even the center shaft is metal! pretty impessive!
Radio Shack is the truth...!!!! Been going there getting soldering irons since i was six price doesnt have anything to do with it i had 2 that i ran in the snow one from RS and one from a hobby str in my area it messed them up both because the snow got inside and melted we all know water and electronics dont mix. just use judgement
ive fried 3 of these with normal use. smoke barreled from the inside of it. its a shame they wouldnt give me a 4th when the 3rd broke. now im stuck with a broke hummer.
Right out of the box, are those good?

FYI traxxas makes waterproof electronics so as long as they are stock they are waterproof.

iv got an e savage and run it in the snow and mud all the time and nothin ever happens you just have shitty luck or just buy shitty brands

no just dont buy it, it is from radio shack the place for electric scrap. go to a hobby shop and buy a real one for like 300 dollars

@jon5nc atleast the radioshack has the best of the low grade non hobby rc cars. especially the 4wd monster trucks. those fuckin things never break
