Hmm. Interesting. Do you happen to know when this was filmed? In my head I had the impression that Bream always played this piece slowly as in the famous recording. By the way, I really love the tempo he has chosen in the video. Thank you!

I find this particular peice of music quite startling, interesting, amazing and most enchanting - I Love Julian Bream - As an arist I find Julian looks just like JS Bach in the painting of Bach holding a piece of paper (composition)in his hand.

He had a very individualized technique... I've always thought it was because of his lute playing that his left had looked like that, but of course I could be wrong.
