It was hard to tell sex at first(you were holding it and it was mad) but I also say female. The other that comes in later is male. I can generally differentiate by vocals before seeing the drake feather.
No ducks were harmed. They were being ducks. A long time ago, I used to have a couple of the white Pekin duck hens, that had the crest on their head. We used to call it a "wig". We also had a couple of Mallard drakes.
The one at the beginning of the video is unmistakeably a female. Her straight tail is one of the hints. Also, female ducks are the ones who produce the stereotypical loud and high-pitched quack.
The one at 1:14 is the male. Notice his curled tail feathers, larger size, and lower-pitched, calmer-sounding quack.
I've read that it's hard to tell the difference, but the males typically have the curled tail feathers while the females are more straight. So I'd agree and say a female.
