  • They will have to change how Music and Movies are sold. Countless Millions spoken against SOPA. making it untenable. Copyright, is going too far and over reaching.

  • WHY ARE WE SO OBSESSED WITH MONEY?????????

  • PEOPLE FROM TE YEAR 2011 I BRING GOOD AND BAD NEWS AQBOUT SOPA... YOU SE- (this message is deleted due to copyright claim)

  • solution. stop watching FOX and Disney for a while and they will run out of money to make the bill pass

  • It doesn't matter how terrible piracy is, this is wrong.

  • I use VPN a lot and I've downloaded thousands of songs..And believe me I know little tricks and tips,I use tons of contents not available in my country,And I torrent lots of movies...come get me ASSHOLES....

  • If it passed, a lot more people use ecryption ,and VPN. The way internet functions would have to be changed. SOPA is like forcing every customer to stripped searched to prevent theft in a retail store. A straight audio out, to audio in over the internet would be impossible to stop.

  • What has this country come to? T__T

  • Now we know what to say to the judge when we get charge with piracy! We were urged to do it by legitimate websites such as cnet. Now I know why I had anything to do with watching illegal content. PEOPLE SHARE THIS VIDEO. ITs so important for people to know!

  • Note to the MPAA and the RIAA: The best way to discouage piracy is to provide a good product at a reasonable price. If you still think it is a good idea to make legitimate users pay more and jump through hoops, Ask microsoft about what happened when they made IT people have to call the company and get a special code in one day to maybe install windows. IT people got so frustrated they started to install LENUX. People in Russia made a fortune selling bogus ID code generators.

  • I hope wiki and google remind everyone around november about who supported SOPA and PIPA. For the record I am a pro capitalist conservative and I am against piracy. Stupid laws like SOPA and PIPA will criminalize Americans and move were piracy takes place. It will also provide an excuse to punish disent by selective enforcement. It will decrease the value of intelectual property by making it more expensive, harder to use and reduce what you can do with it. We would get more piracy not less.

  • lol its about sopa... and he stole this video LMFAO XD

  • A copyright is a copyright, it's there for a reason.

  • @unstopedpiano Facepalm.

  • Life on earth will end if this shit passes

  • 卐OPA

  • anyone who wants sopa to pass should get cancer

  • Guys whoevver uploaded it was only doing what he told people to do soo shut up!! Alot of others did it too

  • Lets say you spend 6 months and countless hours writing a novel. Everyone in the world wants to read your book. It then hits the market, 1 person buys your book, then scans it and uploads it. Then it is downloaded and uploaded to another filesharing site, then another. Before long, everyone who wants to read it has, but you made only $4 off that one original sale. Still think pirating is ok?

  • @MrThewanderer1 i agree theft is theft and must be dealt with but without killing jobs and taking away freedom!

  • @MrThewanderer1 yeah. I've been ripped off musically and book wise and I still know that this COPYRIGHT law is a JOKE.

    Out with the truth.

  • @MrThewanderer1 its not just piracy its copywright witch would shut down youtube and other website

  • @MrThewanderer1 Oh shutup. Give society some credit. Whenever I've downloaded something (IF I ever have, heh) if I liked the product, I bought it. It works like renting for me. If I like it, I buy it. If I don't; well I just saved myself some time buying it and getting a refund.

I'm against stealing as much as anyone, but the propaganda against downloaders is ridiculous..apparently we're supporting terrorists every time we download something.

  • @MrThewanderer1 shut the fuck up, if someone did pirate it and ENJOYS IT They would buy a physical copy, maybe even a digital copy to support the author, Thomas Edison said a little something about people like you, I'll sum it up for you because I see you support SOPA so clearly something isn't ticking in your head and I don't wanna confuse you, "YOU'RE A PUSSY, A COWARD, YOU DO NOT DESERVE YOUR RIGHTS SINCE YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE THEM UP" now fuck off

  • @MrThewanderer1 oow well they can do it better than trying to control the whole internet.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrThewanderer1 Its technically not our fault. Its the asshole who gets the Product and releases the product for everyone on the internet.

  • @MrThewanderer1 no but theifs in this case are better than the big corporations that are using their slaves as talking pieces is

  • @MrThewanderer1 People dont care.

  • @MrThewanderer1

    only made 4$.. haha loser~~!!

  • @MrThewanderer1 its not about piracy its about censorship

  • @MrThewanderer1 , I paid for the electricty, the equipment, the internet service, to play music and videos. If I pay for CD or DVD, I will do whatever I dam please with it. SOPA, is proof that copyright goes too far, Next you know you will want the right to vote after your dead!

  • @MrThewanderer1

If the artist sold his book to a publisher who treated customers like criminals wanted to control the content after purchase, charged an excessive amount and restricted access in certain countries then yes

Piracy is an issue of service this issue of service stems from dinosaur business models.

What I know for certain is destroying the internet won’t help the artist at all

  • Honestly, copyright infringement is against the law and wrong..no matter how you slice it. However, S.O.P.A. is not going about it right. Stop piracy without cutting into filesharing. Yes, downloading copywrited songs and movies, and books is wrong beleive it or not. But, sharing a file without making a copy-"aka downloading" is not. Making a copy cuts into profits os the copy write holder. Even New people trying to get into the industry.

  • Is that Arlo Guthry in the beginning?

  • Wait so do the people who are commenting want sopa to pass?

  • i always knew obama was too good to be true

  • this needs to be watched by everyone.

  • ... seems a tough legal call. A company that makes software that enables piracy is not at fault unless you can prove intention other than allowing sharing of home photos/personally owned material. If I make baseball bats, I'm not responsible if someone hits another person with it. Did I miss something?

  • Long live IsoHunt, BitTorrent, PirateBay, PickTorrent etc etc....As long as uploaders aren't profiting off what they are sharing, I see nothing wrong with sharing what they bought. It's like if you buy a George Strait CD and make a copy for your brother, that's your right. You can't make 200 copies and sell them at the swap meet, that's illegal and has been since the 80's with cassette tapes, but I've never heard of anyone going to jail for making a copy for a friend.

  • @Tuddley3 but doing what you just said IS doing that. Every copy that is downloaded is a % taken away from the person who made that album, movie, and or book. One upload turns into 2k downloads. How much money is lost from 2k downloads when the writer of a novel gets 40% of sales?

  • This is brilliant. Sharing...
