HD Cable and Blu-Ray discs look fantastic on this set, even if it is 720p. It's not a big enough tv for it to matter if it's 1080p. Fantastic tv for the price.

To everyone reading this... Unless you have superhuman abilities at resolving images you will not be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 32 inch screen at normal viewing distance. Manufacturers produce two or more models of TV at the same size for product gradation, it's to make you think that you're getting more features, when actual fact you wont be able to tell the difference.

I think I am going to get the Samsung T260HD for my PS3/PS2/TV display. I really only trust Samsung, Sony and Panasonic display's, all other brands seem iffy as far as life time.

idk what people said about 300cdm is too dark, but I played many dark games on it like fear2, bioshock, dead space or killzone 2 in ps3 I didn't had any problem seeing thing in dark place. The monitor is lot brighter than you think. I had no problem watching movies when I was laying down on my bed. If you turn brightness all the way of course.
