  • Only a REAL FOOL would claim there is no God! Man creates awesome skyscrapers, fake hearts, tunnels, vehicles etc.. If we are very imperfect then what more can God create THE UNIVERSE! You must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior to receive eternal rest in heaven! Simple! John 3:16 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him! Repent & accept Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ or HELL?!? Visit cbn. com

  • He should be a president

  • Never mat the man but i will miss him ......

  • The people who told us Palin was dumb were also the same ones who told us Obama was smart. I don't know what kind of VP Palin would of made but the jury is in on Obama and we were lied to.

  • @armandx10 I'm pretty sure the rest of the sane world would destroy America and even possibly themselves before allowing Sarah Palin to lead a government and country of morons.

  • Comment removed

  • He's right here, a lot of people were asking if this was THE BEST That idiot McCain could find!

  • @deeppurple28

That's not even what he said. Hitchens respected McCain, but called him senile. And him and others agreed Palin was fucking horrible, mostly picked for political expediency instead of any type of competence.

McCain is not an idiot and Hitchens never called him that, so shut your face.

  • @tubub When did I say that Hitchens called him an idiot you fucking imbecile? I CALLED McCain an Idiot you moron, that's because McCain is a fucking IDIOT! STUPID FUCK!!!

  • @deeppurple28

You sir, are a dumb mother fucker.

  • @tubub FUCK YOU TWAT, Now show me where I said that Christopher Hitchens stated that McCain was an Idiot! SHOW ME YOU FUCK FACED JACK OFF! FUCK YOU TURD! Stop pulling shit out of your loose ass hole if you can't back it up BITCH!

  • Plain did not say that she could see Russia from her house....she said that u could see Russia from some places in Alaska

  • @grfield1 whose plain?

  • @iamajibber sorry that should say "Palin"....former governor of Alaska

  • @grfield1 haha i know i was just in a bad mode and being facetious, sorry! lol

  • Palin used her position to make a few million bucks. She was not in it for anything more.

  • Well, I like Hitchens and I like Palin...big tent here, I need to find this full interview.

  • I love how he snt biased with a political party. He may have supported the Iraq war, but he doesnt then always support republicans

  • @moroney1 He almost never supports Republicans. Especially now with this Tea Party bullshit.

  • @moroney1 it used to be a left-wing cause to support international intervention. oh well. somehow conservatives like to spend and expand government money in the military

  • bawww, don't call my atheist superhero a right-wing neocon because he supports racist wars of aggression, that's offensive

  • @warmongerpro How is it racist?

  • @warmongerpro Islam is not a race, you uneducated buffoon.

  • Voting for or against any issue has no bearing whatsoever on your political affiliation. There's this thing called informed choice that humans can express, where instead of pulling a lever to vote straight party ticket, a person can pick and choose based on specific races and issues. I disagree with Hitchens on Iraq, but it's an informed disagreement, and that's okay. The person who knows nothing of the world and yells "S'POT AR TREWPS!" blindly, that's not okay, because that person is ignorant.

  • It was actually a good move for mccain, he got the 'moronic-gun totting-christian-red neck" vote sewn up

  • @mehico33 There's nothing wrong with gun toting atheists!

  • @FaganRoberts Nothin wrong with gun toting anything if theyre intelligent, if theyre the kind to think rationally before doing crazy shit

  • I don't like Palin at all she an idiot who complains about how the media portrays her... but never misses a chance to get on TV to call attention to herself. Whats funnier is she still thinks she has a shot at being President lol. IMO the people who support her are the dumbest Republican voters around. Ron Paul 2012!

  • The thing about Palin is, although she complains incessantly about how she's portrayed in the media, the media loves her. It loves her because she's funny. Always a good, amusing story from Palin about how clueless she is. In a way, you could blame the media for giving her too much credibility. People really don't get the media. It's not comprised of plotting people with social agendas but reporters, people making a lof of individual choices for their reasons... and Palin's a good laugh.

  • Now that Obama has been in office for some time, it is apparent that the GOP's complete collapse of their mental capacities is hardly unique. Joe Biden? Are you kidding? Obama? Uhhhhhhhh (how many times does he say that?). We in the U.S. are stuck with an upper level of politicians that are as worthless as a pile of crap...and about as intelligent.

  • I dont think hes criticizing the right. Hes saying, thats all you could find? really? If someone like Ron Paul had been nominated I dont think he would have had the same opinion. I mean, you look at the people the left has nominated since Clinton and its a total laughing stock too. Hilary? Gore? Obama? all are TERRIBLE candidates for one reason or another. The only one of them with any brains whatsoever is Gore but hes a nutcase. Obama is like bush 2.0. rampant spending, warlike, inarticulate

  • And Biden was a good choice for VP? The man has the IQ of a turnip.

  • @KnightOwl2006 Palin has the IQ of absolute nothingness, she has no IQ, if it were possible to have NEGATIVE IQ she'd be the person to have it.

  • @KnightOwl2006

25 years in the Senate, and a good track record on the foreign relations committee, kind of important considering our military affairs. Yeah good choice. Not the best choice, but not a bad one. Goes off the cuff with some stupid comments from time to time, but nowhere approaches the stupidity of Sarah Palin.

  • @NoRegretsForOurYouth HAHAHAHAHA Biden has a good track record for not being an idiot??!??!? go back and look at the things he used to say back in the day. Hes either anti american or a complete and total fucking RETARD. between the four of them, mccain, palin, obama, biden. theres less brain cells than in a chicken. Whether your a dem a rep or an indy Ron Paul 2012. hes a social liberal and a fiscal conservative, perfect!

  • @Porojukaha

    Ugh "anti american"

    *vomits*

  • @KnightOwl2006 Osama Bin Laden is dead, this administration wins.

  • Palin givres hope to Woman all over the World - if Someone who is as daft as a brush can get as far as she then anyone can be president.

  • I am assuming that McCain was the only one who disliked the video?

  • @aznlalaland lmao yes

  • She's "the suitably chastening effect" that keeps on giving to a world that doesn't just ignore her! And to think I almost voted for McCain......

  • she never said she could see Russia from her house guys...

  • @spideylover It's really neither here nor there tbh...She's got an entire catalogue of insanely stupid outbursts.

  • @cde19 so do a plethora of other politicians. I'm not really a fan of her, but ir's ridiculous how she's scapegoated

  • @spideylover You're right that she never actually said that but she did say that her being able to see Russia from Alaska was a part of her foreign policy experience.

  • I can see Russia from my house too. I happen to own a map of the world :P

  • More people need to speak their mind without caring if we hurt someones feeling when trashing religion. Honesty, a better world and reason > Friendship with religious

  • I want to lick him.

  • Exactly Chris! I was almost considering McCain when he popped Sarah Palin out of the woodwork. "What do you take me for?" expresses it beautifully.

  • 'I can see Russia from my house'

This from a woman who thinks that Africa is a country

  • Comment removed

  • @Ciaresayton

You give the impression of a deranger hillbilly teabagger...Go watch Glenn Beck.

  • No . . he will support even a religious person . . . but you better take Jihad seriously, or forget about it . . . . as for me, Jihad will only kill a small amount of America's at best . . remember drunk driver's kill 40,000 + each year in America. i have had the 4 am. call on that one . . . i have seen the mom get the news of her 24 year old one and only . . . . Jihad will not win, only inflict enough pain to bring about their downfall . . . . or "policy change" Jeffersonian style . . .

  • @switchsearch

    Bullshit!

You think setting off bombs in trains and killing innocent people works in politics? Then you are deluded and ignorant of history!

  • @lmacorp

    Good.

  • i love russia!

  • lol whats bulshit? idiot

  • i can see russia from my house to dont cha know.

  • I love Christopher Hitchens's voice.

  • @YouLikeBosch - I love his voice and his delivery. Dawkins said that Hitchens has a "...thrilling voice... like Richard Burton.", and he is absolutely right. It's elegant and rich ... like the color burgundy. I wonder if he can sing well. If so, then brilliant parody songs should be in his repertoire.

  • just because he supports the Iraq war doesn't make him a right winger, because he isn't.

  • Believing that Saddam Hussein was directly connected to the 9/11 terror attacks does. Only the most batty of right wingers believe this. Even most "mainstream republicans"(purely relative term) dont believe that nonsense.

  • actually he's a Liberal. liberalism is a right-wing iodeology because it puts individuals above the collective. It is also an imperialist ideology so you are wrong.Oh and he's mates with Paul Wolfowitz.

  • wrong.

  • @dntmsswthme66166 he out ranks your intellect and does more for the world. so whats that make you. whats worst than a jew?? let me guess a cunt.

  • @MaxwellBennett Your comment is correct and I agree. Hitchens is anything but a neo-con.

  • @MaxwellBennett True! He supported the war in Iraq for completely different reasons than the Bush administration gave for going to war.

  • @jrwilson98 yeah, cuz getting oil for France and bankrupting america is such a different reason than getting oil for cheney and bankrupting america.....DURR!! Oh, and, were gonna invade libya, where we arent even sure they really shot on their people, but we ignore syria where there were public beheadings and torture to discourage protesters. Wake up people, the purpose of war is to waste our money so they can strengthen government and thus their power, Obamas in on it AND Boehners in on it.

  • @Porojukaha We have video of people being mowed down, how could you be so ignorant?!

  • @tony38727 no we have video of people running from something. It could be as easily staged as this video was /watch?v=As5CzjudF3c however we DO have REAL video of people being slaughtered in syria. we have what Irans president said about what would happen to protestors there. Even if it did happen in libya. Why the favoritism? why are we helping one nation but turning a blind eye to others?

  • @Porojukaha Yeah right and the scenes of homes being invaded by mercenaires or maybe the video of 6 people getting hit by a van. If the USA got involve in Syria we might lose our chance to completely exterminate Al-Quida, when the new leader fails we will finally rid of this organization. Then we might stop being world super heroes for a while get this economy down first.

  • That like calling John Kerry a flip flopper, when he righteously admitted his error while the assholes you probably support won't and so have gained international ridicule. Marxism is theoretically the best, but isn't practical and this is what Hitchens agrees with. He's been an anti-theist for a while and an atheist nearly his whole life (since the age of reason). It is also incorrect to label him a right winger, as he has no party-affiliation. get your shit straight, so far ur 0/4

  • Yes, because the true test of a person's worth is their resistance to changing their views with new information. Clearly, the best people are those who believe the same thing, no matter what.

  • yea but your a complete jackass when your way in the wrong and to stubborn to open your eyes. shit like that is why the greater portion of america is full of idiocy too much blind faith and not enough thinking. its easier to stick with the same old thoughts. what makes man the ruler of earth=our brains. its a damn shame that a large portion of people dont use their brains. Think why we rule the world is because god put us here. absoulutely disgusting.

  • "shit like that is why the greater portion of america is full of idiocy too much blind faith and not enough thinking"

"Think why we rule the world is because god put us here. absoulutely disgusting."

    The ironing [sic] is delicious.

  • Hitchens does not give a care what anybody thinks. He's tough, and he calls it like he sees it. More public intellectuals should follow his lead.

  • Damn straight! Hitch is the man!

  • @PapaMagnum I totally agree with you, he is straight to the point.

  • We must sanctify evil through civil institutions in order to consolidate the world's resources, wealth & power. Religion bars the way, as Man worships a higher power than civil authority.

  • Hitchesn is right about the best choice, but is being deliberately naive about who gets chosen. The parallel forces of "who is the best choice to bring more votes to my platform" and "who is the least objectionable to the electoral college nitwits" are how the VP is chosen.

  • I used to think that Ron Paul ( because he is good on the economy as Vice President ) and McCain would as President ( because he is good on the war on terror) would have been a good choice.

It is unfortunate that Schwartsneger was not born in the US he would make a great vice President as he can bring the Europeans on side.

Hitchens is right about Palin, the US has to stop being a religious Basket case of Zionist, Christan end timers. The world needs a Jeffersonian US a Empire of Liberty

    USA !

  • Hitchens is music to my ears! In-your-face, brash, eloquent, intellectual, sarcastic, to-the-point, shoot from the hip, straight to the point, well read, bulldogish, subtle yet biting. Reminds me of an aged bottle of Merlot from the Central Valley of California. Hint of warmth on the way down, cool in your mouth, bouquet that stays on your palate for a spell. Hitchens is my favourite Horseman. I wish he took better care of himself so that we can enjoy him for a long time.

  • Easydollars u need a "A dose of reality" because your just retarded.. how could u babble on about god and say that and i quote "We should love the things Christ likes and Hate the things he Hates. Theres no in between." when christ didnt hate anything if he even existed because he was indifferent.

  • Love the Hitch!!!

  • Unlike you, Easydollars, who are so devoid of poison that you are able to respond with such "loving" hate to Hitchens.

To borrow mikescircus' perfectly suited comment about you from a week ago: 'I take it you are not a "practicing" christian.'

  • Religion is a scourge on society

  • I think you forgot to take your medication today.....psychiatric disorder can be helped...you really need to commit.

  • @fantasy0coach "psychiatric disorder"? Just making stuff up as we go along now?

  • @adrenaltheory

lpl...no.... there is sufficient evidence within the insane jabber.

  • @fantasy0coach i think you mean a mental disorder. a psychiatric disorder would be running out of toiletpaper at the local crazyhouse.

  • Jesus died a long long time ago. He had nothing to do with God and called himself the Son of Man repeatedly to make the point. He would be absolutely horrified to see the merchandise St Paul made out of Christianity and especially horrified by idiots like you who cannot think for themselves and declare "we should love the things Christ likes and Hate the things he Hates." Grow a brain. Get an education.

  • @Easydollars That image of Jesus "not wanting anything to do" with Hitchens when he returns is hilarious. I can just imagine Jesus at a dinner party, turning a cold shoulder to Christopher and hanging around the fried shrimp and crackers, sneaking glances. "Is he looking? Is he looking? Oh my GAWD, who invited him? Is he wearing loafers? Girlfriend, please! *snicker*"

  • @JiangZiyaTabooDays That's one one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. Thanks so much. Hitchens and Jesus would probably be at the same dinner party - with Sarah Palin, Ralph Reed and James Dobson conspicuously uninvited.

  • @Easydollars "We should love the things Christ likes." Cool. I just had a divine revelation. God told me Jesus is really into giving Al Sharpton a "rusty trombone" (eating his ass while jerking him off from behind) after Al ate four pounds of rotten fish and refried beans, then ran out of toilet paper. You must follow Christ in the things he likes, God commands you!

  • @Easydollars Hitchens doesn't believe in Satan, by the way.

  • @Easydollars So following him blindly? Go right ahead little sheep.... Off the cliff you go

  • You would certainly make Satan proud with all the hate you are spreading around. I take it you are not a "practicing" christian.

  • Don't forget excessive capitalization. Like we're going to read the words with big letters in them with extra care...

  • Somehow nick got internet access from his padded room...

  • True, i'm always amazed at the sheer naivete of the people who push third parties as though they're some sort of answer. They'd fuck things up in no more than two terms just like the rest of them, then they'd have nothing to squawk about.

I have a rule, if someone ends more than 30%* of their sentences with exclamation points they're a dumbass. Perhaps he's missing a chromosome.

*This must of course be conducted over at least 7-10 sentences for a correct measurement.

  • If you vote McCain or Obama, who wins? Well the cooperation's that have stolen from the american people with the help of the politicians win! The largest military based economy wins! The petroleum industry wins! The worst healthcare system of all the industrialized nations wins! The #36th best education in the world wins! But... WE LOSE. Don't vote for the democratic-republican party (thats what they were called before they split)! Vote for real change VOTE NADER GONZALAS 2008!

  • Another great vid Coach!!!

I am sure that in his more quiet, reflective moments, McCain is asking: "what have I done!!!"

And now with her $150,000 fashion spending spree coming to light, I suspect he'll be asking himself that question a lot more.

    Thanks yet again coach :)

  • You guys just don't get it, please do your self and all of America a favor and stop supporting the democratic-republican party (thats their original name!) Who, lies cheats, and steals from the American people, siphoning our tax dollars to cooperations via no bid contracts, bailouts, and the privatization of military infrastructure. Who ILLEGALLY ban all other political parties form debating by privatizing the debates so they remain unchallenged. Why are you voting for them? VOTE NADER!

  • Hey hey, I'm an 'Moral' Atheist -- and I just happen to be undecided!

  • How much crap do you have to smell to know McSame and Caribou Barbie stink? Go vote for Obama!

  • I didn't like the Jeremiah Wright association and involvement with the Obama campaign, and his screed on the society that is the jewel of separation of church and state and The Enlightenment. However, i don't like Palin's disinterest in the pursuit of anything intellectual. I like McCain's love of country. Obama said he will go after the Taliban in Pakistan when McCain criticized him for that -- thusly I'm UNDECIDED -- this sucks sucks sucks suck sucks!!

  • He has repudiated Wright; what more do you want?

  • I want to see him making better choices about who he associates with in regards to people that shape his character and influence his decisions, who he claims as his spiritual adviser. Granted, I see the reality that a young minority upstart from Chicago is faced with, the Chicago political machine is ugly and to rise through it you have to brush up with the dirty side of the city, I think Obama has more integrity than those he 'may' have been obligated to associate with, so I give him credit.

  • If you vote McCain or Obama your killing this country, the Democratic-Republican party has proven that it lies, cheats, and steals from the American people! That they are incompetent, and that they are ok with America being THE WORLD"S LARGEST MILITARY BASED ECONOMY! That their OK with killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in an illegal occupation of a sovereign nation. That their ok with being #36 and #34 in education and healthcare internationally! VOTE NADER FOR REAL CHANGE!

  • America has shown, with regime change in Iraq, that it can be a force for good in the world; in the fight against, natioonal socialism in former Yugoslavia, jihadic imperialism, however, agreed, the responsibility could be shared much more than it has been.

  • America has NOT SHOWN any thing but the fact that it is THE LARGEST MILITARY BASED ECONOMY ! And that America feels it OK to bomb countires based on a lie! "The 9/11 Commission found that IRAQ had NO INVOLVMENT in the 9/11 attacks and NO COLLABRITIVE RELATIONSHIP with Al Qaeda" (source: MSNBC, 9/11 Commission). You are heavily brainwashed and misinformed.

  • The document was wrong on those items; Ramzi Yousef was in the US with false Iraqi passport; Abu Abbas was captured in Iraq; Abu Musab al-Zarqawi operated in Iraq; Saddam was, in the few years before 2003, moving to gather and appeal to international jihadism (God is Great printed on the Iraqi flag) and those leaders already mentioned. Youre intellectualizing at the expense of possibly the whole of western liberalism. Regime Change has been US policy at least since 1998 Iraq Liberation Act.

  • NONE of those people were working in coordination with Saddam, or the IRAQI government, I'm not going ot argue with you on this, you can go argue with the people who wrote the 9/11 commission report. Again I sighted sources, you did not. America is the largest military based economy, so there are always idiots like you that support War. People who want to argue politics but can't sight references and sources have no leg to stand on.

  • Do your own research, google it to the get the basics. then cross reference it with government documents and peer-reviewed material, I've given you a free consultation with plenty of primary resources. Or duck it as you suggest you will. You should have aided your guns at the equally superficial ad hom and just remarked on my accident bad grammar when I wrote, "You're [sic] intellectualizing at the expense of possibly the whole of western liberalism." So let's see if you're teachable.

  • There is nothing good about bombing innocent people.. YOUR FUCKING SICK IN THE HEAD! FUCK YOU... I HOPE YOU GET BOMBED AND SOME JACK ASS LIKE YOU THINKS ITS PROVING A COUNTRY DOES GOOD IN THE WORLD!

  • Okay, sounds fun, I love dodge ball!!

  • Repudiate Marxism perhaps?

  • WTF?!

  • If you think a book that endorses slavery is a moral book then I have some beach property for you in Nevada that perhaps you would like to buy. Typical conservatives think there candidate is the only one with morals.

  • I'm not endorsing any books, but I see you posted on the wrong string of this thread, so you're forgiven.

  • Right, because believing in completely intangible invisible men in the sky gives you the market corner on morals... tool...

  • Your sentence don't make any sense

  • Well, since I typed it in English, which part of it doesn't make sense to you? I'll try to use smaller words, or maybe slow it down...

  • Didn't your teachers tell you never to pay attention to an attention seeker? I'm damn confused about Hitchens though.

  • Most of the time I ignore, but I truly can'y stand these fairy tale believers pontificating on how they have the morals market cornered, as if I need some ancient book to tell me that it's not ok to club my neighbor over the head and take his stuff...

  • What believers neglect to tell you is that their religion always gives them ways to pursue exceptions to their vaunted rules.

The Ten Commandments say Thou Shalt Not Kill, yet Christians find all kinds of reasons to justify killing. Think how many pro-death penalty Christians there are in the US. They say their position is consistent. I say it indicates that you never know what a person might do when they say their morals are based on God's word. People tend to interpret it to suit themselves.

  • Keep up the far right wing rhetoric buddy and you are going to lose this election in a land slide.

  • Well we have the morals market by definition because there is not objective and absolute moral on an atheist perspective.

"as if I need some ancient book to tell me that it's not ok to club my neighbor over the head and take his stuff... "

Well in fact you do, I think that's what we call obeying the law and most of the laws were established long time before your existence.

So yes ancient books tell you how you have to act ...

  • "there is not objective and absolute moral on an atheist perspective."

Wrong. As human beings, we are the only animal with the ability to reason. That allows us to have the capacity for great works of both good and evil. A more progressive mindset allows us to have a 'live and let live', 'don't mess with us, we won't mess with you' type of mentality. Much of the Constitution is based on these types of principles.

  • ""there is not objective and absolute moral on an atheist perspective."

Wrong. As human beings, we are the only animal with the ability to reason. That allows us to have the capacity for great works of both good and evil."

You didn't read what I wrote or your brain don't understand the words "objective" or "absolute"

Try to buy a dictionary ...

If you define yourself good and evil it's a SUBJECTIVE definition, not an objective one.

  • How about if YOU try to type in coherent, reasonably grammatically correct English sentences, then maybe dullards like myself will be able to understand better.

"If you define yourself good and evil it's a SUBJECTIVE definition."

Well, that's just stupid. Obviously, opinions are subjective. I do not need to define good and evil in the traditional sense, just rational or irrational, and right or wrong. I can use common sense to determine that, don't need JEESUS to define it for me.

  • "most of the laws were established long time before your existence."

True, many laws were established before my birth, thank you Captian Obvious. However, that is not proof that humankind requires belief in an invisible man in order to act in a civilized manner towards one another.

  • Lol every of your post is completely off-topic.

I was responding to your stupid statement about the fact that you don't need that somebody else than yourself define your moral principles, something that is totally false and stupid.

You need objective laws to live in a society.

  • "the fact that you don't need that somebody else than yourself define your moral principles, something that is totally false and stupid."

You're dead wrong... Maybe YOU need other people to define morality for YOU. Your lack of common sense and the ability to reason may mean that YOU require some ancient text written by men and called the word of "god" to defint YOUR princlples. However, those of us with critical thinking skills do not require that kind of nonsense.

  • "every of your post is completely off-topic."

Only if you're too stupid to understand the topic.

    "You need objective laws."

Objective as defined by whom? I would argue that YOUR definition is actually SUBjective, because it's tainted by YOUR view of objectivity, by nature of it being based on "god", rather than actual objectivity.

    From Webster's:

expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations
