Hitchens is music to my ears! In-your-face, brash, eloquent, intellectual, sarcastic, to-the-point, shoot from the hip, straight to the point, well read, bulldogish, subtle yet biting. Reminds me of an aged bottle of Merlot from the Central Valley of California. Hint of warmth on the way down, cool in your mouth, bouquet that stays on your palate for a spell. Hitchens is my favourite Horseman. I wish he took better care of himself so that we can enjoy him for a long time.

What believers neglect to tell you is that their religion always gives them ways to pursue exceptions to their vaunted rules.
The Ten Commandments say Thou Shalt Not Kill, yet Christians find all kinds of reasons to justify killing. Think how many pro-death penalty Christians there are in the US. They say their position is consistent. I say it indicates that you never know what a person might do when they say their morals are based on God's word. People tend to interpret it to suit themselves.
