  • I like my coffe how I like my women...Piping hot, black and thrown in my face.

  • Instant coffee, caffein is much stronger than brewed coffee.. Go for brewed

  • coffee helps you be more awake?

Bullshit, I'm more sleepy after the coffee than before it :P

  • @Musicsage Some people naturally respond in reverse order to certain chemicals. Much in the way that stimulants like adderall, etc. used to control ADD and ADHD problems in children and a valium might "amp" them up. Not everything is for everyone. Perhaps you are naturally energetic. In that case, when you are feeling tired, you likely just are tired.

  • Coffee drinkers consume a huge amount of sugar!

  • TRUE

  • Mmmm.... ... ..... .....coffee

  • c(♥) coffee!

  • I can drink about 4 a day ..max. I can't handle more than that

  • This video made me want to drink more coffee... I drink a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 cups of coffee a day.

  • I love coffee i have about 10 a day ,lol

  • Germany is always second or third in something hahaha

  • @MoonEar1973 You're right, except don't let them have

tanks. A cup of coffee a nice panzer and the ride of

    valkyrie begins.

As Churchill said, 'germans are either at your feet,

    or at your throat'!

    Auf Wiedersehen!

  • 26 year study reduces cancer risk

  • I read in NEJ of medicine that it keeps alzheimers away also..

  • If I'm not mistaken, coffee is acid forming so it produces free radicals as well , so the antioxidants would get more or less cancelled out.

  • @germanicelt Very good point. An acidic body is very

unhealthy! Becoming more alkaline will alleviate many

physical problems. Coffee, sugar, alcohol, tea, etc etc

    are acidic.

  • 1:28 lol

  • hah i drink 6-8 cups of coffee so i beat finland easy ;D

  • @JackOfBladesX1 It's only you. So you don't beat FINLAND, you beat one person. Lmfao.

  • @JackOfBladesX1 F*ck no, I'm from Finland and drink 7-8 cups of coffee.

    No I don't, you win :(

  • Plenty of ways to get antioxidants without the caffein.

  • ANTIOXIDANTS ARE IN EVERY PLANT YOU EAT, especially the ones that don't intoxicate. You guys just want to be on speed while you over-work yourself. Eat a freakin apple

  • I love Coffee!

  • coffee is actually healthy, its when you add sugar, sweeteners milk or cream shit to it that defeats its purpose

  • @Whyrweherereally How can a drug be healthy ? What is healthy in one's inability to wake up without cup of coffee ? Real healthy body and brain will wake up alert - what you actually need is just a glass water. If you need anything else - it's called addiction.

  • @valgez1 how can a drug be healthy? Well, if its natural, and confined properly then its ok, its the chemically altered prescription drugs ppl shove down their throats everyday thats bad for u .. and im not saying anything about 'relying' on it, im simply saying it can be healthy, in moderation obviously... too much of anything is bad for you, including 'water'..

  • *However, recent studies have found that 'coffee' actually has one of the highest levels of 'antioxidents' found within it... and it has also been linked to fighting depression

  • @Whyrweherereally "Antioxidants" in coffee? I've heard of this too - it's strange, cause coffee is, as a matter of fact, a highly acid food in respect to the Blood PH balance - meaning, it's actually producing free radicals. I believe all those studies are useless :-) Apart from failing to account for each person's individual abilities, you don't know who sponsored the study. It may help fighting depression in some, while in some it can, in fact, trigger a depression (like myself) :-)

  • @valgez1 Coffee's effect on health has been attacked throughout the dam ages!! Its 'stimulatory' effects were studied soo friggin quickly i wouldnt b surprised of the unscientific accusations it brought on! also darker roasted coffees are less acidic—both in flavor an actual acid content, 'acidity' refers to a 'flavor note', not to the actual acid content, coffee is low in acid, Its pH is around 5.0 - 5.1, which is more neutral than 'beer' or any 'fruit juice' and similar to carbonated water

  • @Whyrweherereally Well, opium is natural too. Also, of course, everyone reacts to coffee differently. For me, a cup of black coffee in the morning means a rollercoaster throughout a day with eventual energy dip, irritability, and so on. When trying to stop drinking coffee it takes me 2-3 days of withdrawal :-) BUT, when off coffee, I am able to wake up jumping on my feet - like a cat :-) Also, physical energy is much higher. I'd drink only when it's necessary . Cheers.

  • @valgez1 'Opium' in its natural state isnt all that evil, it causes 'euphoria' followed by a sense of well-being and a calm drowsiness or sedation.. its actually used as an alternitive to heavy medical drugs in some cases.. again, its when you go over board with it is when it becomes a bad thing.. or mass produce with loads of shit in it to preserve it.. the point of most natural drugs is to help.. but ya, i can take like 3 cups and im fine, depends on the person sometimes lol, just dnt add sugr

  • @Whyrweherereally Well, 5.0 - 5.1 is considered rather highly acid - i think it's enough to think twice about it's antioxidant abilities. Fruit juices have, in fact, an alkaline effect on blood HP, not acid, unless it has lots of artificial sugar in it . I believe that evrth is natural can be consumed (in wise quantities :-), but when one gets dependent on coffee to start himself up - nothing good about it, meaning endocrine system malfunction.

  • @Whyrweherereally Again, I'm telling by my own experience. When I'm drinking only water - no coffee, no tea, neither green nor herbal, I get in my best physical and mental shape and calm mood - the energy i get is virtually limitless. My idea is that permanent caffeine consumption suppresses some of the body functions.

  • @valgez1 You know what 'chicken', 'fish', 'eggs', 'honey' and 'nuts' are on the acidic charts?? WAAY higher than 5.0 - 5.1.. and these foods have EXTREMELY important health benefits/needs depending on preparation/consumption methods! the acidic levels of the human body today in general have adapted over time to astaining slightly higher levels of acidity anyway. Everything is balanced, and going to have its weaker turn, but the point of this whole discussion is 'moderation'

  • however, ya, i agree with alot of what your saying in regards to relying on something.. i mean, basically i think if you way all the benefits of coffee together, your going to get unbiased opinion depending on health of individual, environment, person and etc anyway. all i know is that i dont rely on coffee and never have either, and that a cup or 2 (black) can be a beneificial to ones health, maybe not the health-cure of all ages, but in some health aspects, beneficial (also flushs trappd water

  • @Whyrweherereally Yes, I do know that many foods are acid forming. I don't know what you mean by WAAY higher, because I've seen different numbers. That is the link i used: rense.com/1.mpicons/acidalka.htm Anyway, those are highly nutritional foods, full of minerals, proteins, vitamins, etc - the things that make your body work, unlike coffee that just hypes up your nerve system - such things cannot be without side effects, both in a short and a long term. I mean, it's just a drug.

  • @Whyrweherereally Agreed, moderate amounts may be beneficial for one's health. Especially, in the age of speed and stress :-)) Also, it may help stimulate one's metabolism, etc... As long as it's natural fresh ground black coffee, some mix of Costa - Rica and Columbia sorts, drunk with a good cigar made of whole tobacco leave with no chemical crap - yeah! why not enjoy at times :-))

  • @valgez1 Well Beef is about 34.5, Pork is about 38.0, clearly the highest, Chicken is 22 -18.0, Eggs are 22, ocean fish are about 20.0, cashews 9.3, peanuts 12.8, pistachios 16.6, and honey approx 7.6.. so obviously these are quiet higher in regards to acidic level readings.. and yes they offer more nutritional values than coffee, but as you can see this is completely balanced off with the acidity they also bring.. and my previous point being, 5.0-5.1 isnt considered that high

  • so if anything your not really going wrong with coffee, (unless u add sweetnrs, sugr cream etc to it or consume too much).. and your getting the bonus antioxident-properties, possible depression fighting stimulants (for some*) and laxative-water releasing properties, which is extremely good for flushing out your system .. i dont even use coffee for the cliched energy purposes like most idiots do, i have 1 or 2 cups every few days throught week an im good

  • Comment removed

  • @Whyrweherereally Don't know, really. As I said, there are different sources. Beef -34.5, Ocean Fish -20.0, COFFEE -25.1, Honey -7.6. So, according to this one, coffee is very acidic, not mentioning that it's nutritional content is virtually zero and the energy is not coming from sugar and vitamines (like fruit), but from irritating adrenal glands, etc... 5.0-5.1 was only mentioned in respect to the way it affects blood PH balance

  • @valgez1 ya i know, you can just google most of this stuff tho, thats where i got it, its all there.. i dont know what site your on (COFFEE HATERS.org lol) but most of them classify coffee with 5.0-5.1.. and wasnt this convo about affecting 'blood PH balance' anyway??

  • @Whyrweherereally No, I'm not on Coffeehaters. com site - no way. I am being very carefully in weighing all pros and cons, and I find that the cons outweigh. I am very easily getting addicted to coffee myself - so, there's no hate whatsoever. The same sources that give coffee a 5.0-5.1 mark, use the same scale for other foods, so you'll find beef to be close. The numbers you gave match those on "balance-ph-diet" site - that site also gives coffee a -25.1 acidity. Check it.

  • @valgez1 The coffee haters thing was just a joke -_- ... but like i said before, if your trying to completely outweigh all the pros/cons on this topic, its going to be misconfigured and biased no matter what because of all the attributal factors involved in this, such as age, race, environment, individual health(mental/physical), sex, coffee/food cultivation, food adaption over time, weather change, newer scientific studies etc..

  • and 'acidity' refers to a 'flavor note', not to the actual acid content which i already explained way before.. these statistics apply to coffee (in its natural state) in general so it doesnt matter if it reflects the 'balance-ph-diet' list only..

  • @Whyrweherereally In our case, acidity is not an acid content, but the way it affects blood PH balance - in this respect coffee is very acidic, comparable to animal products, and higher then some. For example, lemon is very acid, but lemonade is a very strong alkaline factor. Anyway, as you said, there are many factors: age, race, etc... The only factor I wouldn't consider is scientific studies - today they come with this, tomorrow - with that. I mean, Yeah! Eat / Drink what suits you most :-)

  • @valgez1 But the way it affects blood PH balance is minimal because of the 5.0-5.1! so again, NO its not very acidic, we just went through this lol.. the 25.1 acidity doesnt matter if the affect it actually has, in turn, on blood PH is '5.0-5.1'.. SO ITS MOOT! thus the fact that theres a distinction between the actual 'acidity' factor. i dont know what your not getting or what your ignoring here, but the 'Blood PH' is the whole point of this, and what were talking about in regards to health?

  • you keep attacking coffee as you throw in facts that are on a different scale of argument than what we're really talking about.. if you want to continue this discussion then send me the link to my inbox, so we can fully analyze the statistics proprolly instead of bouncing confusing web site facts off of eachother and taking up the space on this video

  • But technically and for the sake of argument, 'BEEF' and 'MEATS' in general have a whole different 'acidity' affect than acidity levels from say 'nuts/coffee', because their of a completely different food group.. so these are other factors to consider aswell

  • @Whyrweherereally Right, meets, nuts and coffee belong to different food groups. But, coffee is not food! It's just a stimulant, affecting one's nerve system, - no vitamins, no glucose, no protein, - it's virtually zero in terms of nutritional value. Its only merit is its psychotropic effect. (I'll send you the link)

  • @Whyrweherereally That's what I say. If you look at the gradation in terms of blood PH, then coffee and meats fall in the same category: +/- 5.0-5.1 - meaning they are equally acid. But if you look at "individual" grades, then you'll find -25.1 for coffee, -7.6 for honey, etc... - the result is the same: coffee is very acidic. the "health" implication is that I find it very doubtful that coffee has antioxidant properties. Known antioxidants, e.g. lemon and olive oil are very alkaline.

  • @valgez1 Coffee is not a food?? ...Yes it is?! its the same as any leaf, seed or fruit of more than 60 plants, including cocoa beans, cola nuts chocolate etc..! during the roasting of the beans it includes caffeine, trigonelline, chlorogenic acid, phenolic acids, amino acids, carbohydrates, and minerals.. and volatile aroma components including organic acids, aldehydes, ketones, esters, amines, and mercaptans. your making it sound like its nothing but an alien drug having *only stimulate effects

  • @Whyrweherereally *Some types of coffee may also contain significant amounts of the 'B-vitamin niacin', although this nutrient is of course readily available from other foods as well obviously..

  • Again i think your getting alot of scientific bs info from this site.. Fist off, in regards to blood ph, the issue is in your overall 'body' chemistry. The 'alkalinity' and 'acidity' of your blood determines which foods and drinks you should put into your body.. the whole test is called a 'Diet Typing' .. if coffee is filled with caffeine and sugar, these substances 'acidify' the blood, which means if you consume these foods your blood pH will lower (acidify).

  • If your blood is either too low or too high this can affect your health and feeling of well being. Acid Blood - pH less than 7.50 Neutral Blood – pH is at 7.51 Alkaline Blood – pH is higher than 7.52 ..So the point in whether coffee is good or bad for you is determined by where your blood pH falls on this scale. If your blood is alkaline and you drink coffee, your body should feel fine. If your blood is already acidic and you drink more acidifying food or beverages, your going to feel shity

  • Even if coffee falls under the same scale as meats '+/- 5.0-5.1', which i dont believe it does anyway according to the most recent charts ive seen (unless thats including sugars etc), the acidity affects in the acual meats have a completely different acidifying affect on the human body, because of them being from different food groups.. like beans/legumes, grains, fruits, vegitables, oils/fats all have their changes etc (MEAT and Dairy being of the worse) this is what truly affects blood pH..

  • @Whyrweherereally Again, coffee is considered very acidic substance - it's clear to me - the fact that makes antioxidant properties of coffee rather doubtful. Also, it's not correct to compare coffee to other products, as coffee, in fact, doesn't have any "real" nutritional value. Coffee affects blood / body PH at least as much as other products. I mean, apart from its aroma, the sense of well being is not coming from a "Steak" fool of protein, fats and vitamins - caffeine is just a drug.

  • @Whyrweherereally One can live on eating just nuts, just fruit and vegetables, or just fish, but one would die living on coffee. Of course, it contains all sorts of amino acid (it's made of smth, after all :-), just like anything else - any plant (edible or non-edible) is made of smth, but that doesn't mean it has any nutritional value. Besides, any possible coffee's nutritional value will be off set by the strain a caffeine places on the organism.

  • Comment removed

  • @valgez1 Again, your saying the same things and stating the points that i have already explained.. No, in turn it is not very 'acidic' so this doesnt affect its 'antioxident' abilities. In fact its antioxidential properties are comparable to that of fruits. This has been thoroughly studied and is well known. Yes, it doesnt contain major vitamins like Vitamin C, or healthy protiens like nuts etc, and yes, its better to consume fresh fruits and nuts instead of just coffee in a diet, but this

  • Comment removed

  • @Whyrweherereally I'm just stating the things that are pretty obvious to me: coffee is classified as a highly acidic - the fact that makes antioxidant properties rather doubtful, and any antioxidant effect may be offset by it. (I never take scientific research at its value, especially when it concerns food :-) - Some even say that caffeine is not addictive and state "Caffeine is not addictive by accepted definitions and according to most authorities", as if official opinion matters :-)

  • @Whyrweherereally I mean, whatever elements coffee may have - the caffeine itself is a drug - messes with endocrine system, etc... in other words, addiction and all possible outcomes - I just cannot find any health benefits in taking drugs on a permanent basis - sometimes - yes, no problem; on a daily basis - nothing good in it.

  • @valgez1 I understand what your basically saying here as youve stated it repeatidly, im just trying to show you the benefits around these negatives aswell.. and the fact that the 'negatives' are only really negative when over-consumption and food additives are a factor. which i hope we can both agree on. If you dont want to accept the other points ive explained quiet in-depth aswell, then thats fine with me :).. however, i agree scientific studies can be full of shit sometimes, well 'most of

  • the time' depending on the subject, but youll have to believe in some of them considereing your going by the scientifically-based 'blood pH charts' statistics aswell? otherwise where else are you getting your info? and it cant just be from own personal experience because everyones body functions 'differently' depending on individual. as for caffiene/drug, ya i get what ur saying, but agian its an all 'natural' drug so unless you go over-board with it, its not going to do any major damage

  • @Whyrweherereally Yeah, I'm using blood PH charts as pretty simple facts, since the charts themselves state nothing. Interpretation is what matters. I find the PH approach quite reasonable - it makes sense to keep evrth in balance. You can find health benefits in virtually anything. Coffee flushes the body, increases metabolism or fights depression, etc... - I'm sure there are better ways to do the same without having to shock one's nerves system with caffeine.

  • @Whyrweherereally About antioxidant properties - I read some - it appears to be a media hype triggered by a rather ambiguous statement that was never intended to describe coffee as an efficient antioxidant product. Anyway, considering its high acidity, I believe that its antioxidant properties may be neutralized. The bottom line is whatever healthy properties coffee may have, the Net Sum is not what describes coffee as a healthy drink .

  • coffee is good drink two cups a week also try the new more powerful green tea!

  • Thumbs up if you got inspierd to have have a cup of coffie right now!

  • If you drink a lot of coffee, you should try to bring up your pH value by drinking more water and taking minerals/vitamins, or eating a lot more veggies/fruits to re-alkalize the body. In my consensus, coffee lowers the body's pH allowing bad things to happen. But not to be hypocritical since I drink coffee, just try to keep balance in mind, and rinse your mouth or brush as well after rehydration..

  • Some people call me coffee because i grind real good.
