  • You missed Digital.

    High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection.

  • that thing needs a lot of power! lol

  • chorros son todas iguales, como roba nvidia con tantas placas...

  • No frame rates? :(

  • could i put a pci-e 2.0 card in a x16 slot ? what's the diffecence?

  • You will just lose some bandwidth.

  • You lose bandwith, thats about it, so it won't run as well as if you had 2.0

  • it will, because no videocard really uses full pcie 2.0 x16 bandwith.....

thats the reason why u wouldn't feel any difference between sli/crossfire pcie 2.0 x16 OR pcie 2.0 x8.......

    there is no difference....

not really, maybe 1-2% or sth like that

  • but it will work!

  • Will a PCI-Express x16 2.0 card work in a pci express 1.0 slot??

  • It depends on the graphic card, but it should.

  • Well its the GTX 280....

    Will it work?

    Thankzz

  • Yes, but if you put it in a PCI-Express 16x 1.0 you will get about half of the graphic card's true power since 1.0 version transfers data up to 250 MB/s, and 2.0 500 MB/s which means you will have a reduced amount of graphic power, but it still runs good in PCI-Express 1.0.

  • Is the PCI-Express x16 2.0 the same as PCI Express 2.0 that everyone says or is it different????

  • It's the same. It's just that we don't say x16 for the 2.0 version a lot for some weird reason even though we should to reduce confusion on the slots.

  • Thanks!!!!

  • LONG LIVE LOGAN.

  • I believe that the 280 is like the 10800, amirite?

Like this is the new series of nvidia.

  • no, the gtx 280 is like the 9900 gtx

  • 0:53 take photo......

  • im so happy whit my 9800 gtx+ :)

  • it should

  • Thank you for your respond Buddy. I first sent this question to Albert (3 times) but he never replied, so I was saying maybe someone from youtube might help me out and it worked :). Thank you ;)

  • I can fit it in my a-hole :D

  • how the hell are you gona fit that in

  • those are huge!

    com'on! make them smaller gha!

  • Lol newer card like 350 gtx will be out =/

  • i will not buy it i don't have the money :(

  • same.... when it comes out its gana cost about $1,000 and i dun know how many euros that is but its alot.

  • €$

  • This one isnt worth crap i bet its gonna blow into your face,if i wanna spend over 300 buck on a video card i will go for BFG or ASUS not some reject korean made card.

  • i overclock that shit

  • Yea right you keep overcloking it until it blow into your face.

  • LOL

  • You forgot to mention the sound this thing makes its pretty unbearable its louder than my car!!!

  • LOL! Louder than your car.Soon they will sell PCs as an "accessory add on" to your huge fukin video card.LOL!

  • Has anyone noticed the latest cards are gettin fukin HUGE! I can't even fit the 280 and a 9800GTX in two of my PCs.

They keep braggin about smaller die sizes and 65nm and all that jazz but the cards are gettin massive and power hungry. What the fuk is up wit dat??

  • first off with all of these newer video cards, you have to measure the inside of your case. Most mid sized cases will barely house these cards. Second off if you want a good performance computer you have to expect to pay extra. as technology advances you need to make sure you can support the power requirements. the smaller dies are an advancement to make the cards run more efficiently and overclock better. L2READ.

  • that is true, got a 9800gtx+ about 1 month ago ,it was to big and couldnt fit in my case so i ended up returning it and got a ati 4850

  • does it run on XP?

  • Yup

  • No support for dual monitors when using 2-3 cards in SLI. That's something that should be mentioned for the novice system builders. Otherwise they'll be very disspointed. There's a way around it, but it doesn't render "true" dual monitor support like in games that use one monitor for one thing and the other monitor for something else.

  • There was a fix for this recently applied in the form of a driver update. always get your drivers from nvidia and not the manufacturers website. watch your temps and happy OC!

  • yeh thats a good card.

how good is the sound that runs through the card?

  • year 2000? if thats what you mean that bad info..this is a brand new 2008 GFX Card current best one out from Nvidia

  • what to you mean from 2000?

  • probably year 2000

  • What happens when i don't update my ram?

  • And the benchmarks? :(

  • where did Logan go? Albert is good but Logan is the best!

  • will it fit whit my computer?

    Intel(R)Core(TM)2 CPU

    6400 @ 2. 13GHz

    2. 13 GHz , 1.98 GB of RAM

  • dont bother

  • yes but get more ram and check your PSU

  • I would love to upgrade my hold pc from 2000 and have all the latest tech in there.

  • dont upgrade... if its from 2000 get a whole new one... most new stuff wont go together with it anyway...

  • i think its the latest?

  • From nVidia, yes. But that does not mean it is the greatest card. The ATI 4870 X2 card gives your computer yet even more power!

  • thats a double card. think it should be compared against 2 cards then, like 2 GTX 280's. but on the other hand it fits in a single PCI slot... but think nvidia is gonna come out with something crazy fast soon :P

  • What are you talking about, its a 2008 card.

  • some dude asked if it would fit in his 2000 comp

  • it is like a plot u cant keep up with upgrading hardwares since the shitty games coming out with such high settings

  • he said stern must have been in the navy.

  • uh..in any case youtube rocks at comment appending >_>. crysis is pretty unplayable unless you spend 200+ dollars on a video card, and big bucks for the rest of system as well. (this is assuming you want to play on very high settings) you're fine for other games though.

  • any time i hear the word 'dongle', i associate it with an elephant penis. why that is i have no freakin idea!

  • WTF?

  • haha xD lol

  • compare 9800 x2

  • no point to do that. GTX 280 is much better/faster than 9800gx2.

  • why does it loook like a 9800 gtx?

  • I highly recommend you show gameplay clips, they were really good when Logan presented.

  • The card would be XFX, sorry for double post!

  • Is this good for Gaming?

    Config:

MB: ASUS Maximus II Formula /P45

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 /3.16GHz /E0

    RAM: 2x2GB Corsair Dominator PC-8500 /DHX

GPU: nVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 ~670c/1458s/2430m

  • ...

  • if ur getting the Maximus II Formula go for ATI 4870X2 or a single 4870 so that u can Crossfire in the future. if u get nVidia grafix card u wont have the option for SLI. THough ur system would be awesome for gaming!!

  • and 4870x2 is going to get a huge performance boost next year when 4870x2's sideport starts working with drivers, but i would wait for 58702 that's coming next year...

  • yes but get an evga 780i instead =)

  • You..had to ask? ;)

Of course it will be, just make sure you get atleast a 600+ watt PSU.

  • Just grab GB EP45 DS3L very cheap and perfect for single card setups, e8500 great for price, ram is a little bit pricy, but im using the same memory :D and the gpu is sounding great! :D

  • u need to have windows visa to do directx 10 if you have that in ur my games folder right click on the crysis icon and select dx10

  • 26 Amps , damn !

  • do i need windows vista ? because i have xp

  • yes, you do. in any case a 9600gt won't handle crysis unless it's at 640x480 or something. time to upgrade buddy

  • hy guys can you please tell me a thing ? i run crysis with a 9600 gso and i think it can run direct x10 no?.... but when i play crysis it says to me that i play it in direct x9 ! how do i put it in dx10 ? i want to put some of the grafics at very high but i cant ...

  • why dont they show gameplay videos anymore!!!

  • no he said you only get the 6 pin convertor, you still need the 8 pin, is that included in the box or is that sold seperatley ?

  • in the box

  • I'm waiting on the HD4830 review.

  • $459? you call that cheap?

  • Why dont the company give u all the power adaptors you need, you buy the card and have to go out and get another connector ?

  • they give both but why show both when they are the exact same?

  • I have one! XD

Now just to upgrade my cpu and mobo so I can actually optimize this baby at full force ;p

  • Also another question if anybody could please answer this question correctly since on the forums im a member of, nobody had a clue what they were talking about.

Are the "Stream Processor Cores" on the Newer HD Next-Gen Video Cards like the cores on the PS3. Or are the PS3 cores like acual individual cpus instead of Stream processors which are alot simpler. What do they have in common? I know a single GTX280 or ATI 48701Gb GDDR5 is more powerful than every system ever created put together.

  • I honestly would love one of these cards. Ive ALWAYS been an ATI fan. Up until the video card i have now, ive always owned ATI cards. Right now i own an EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked because when it was released it was and still is one of the best cards ever created by Nvidia since the Geforce 4 Ti4200. Then Ati released the 4870 1gb GDDR5 which is the best card ever released. It is on par with the GTX280 and cost HALF the price. Like ATI's own "8800GT" type card.

  • gosh albert i wish you could give me that for free.. :( just ONE THING :( PPLEASE! :(

  • i also want one even if it won't fit into my case or my psu hasn't got enough juice to power it ! it's just freakin amazing (too bad after like 2 months it will be low-end, considering that new cards will appear)

  • a card like that wont be low end even with the intro of newer GPU's for at least another 8 months.

  • i know man me too i don't even have a PCI EXPRESS slot on my motherboard and i still want it!

  • ITS SMOKING HOT

  • nice card

  • its not bigger than the ATI card (the bit interface) the 4870 x2 is 512 bit too

  • ati's card is 256bit

  • 4870 x2 = 256bit + 256bit = 512 bit

  • soo 2 x 4870x2 is 256 + 256 + 256 + 256 = 1024 bit

  • nice card

  • nniiiiiiiiiiicccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeee

but i like 5500 gt 16 mb ultra card !!!

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice

  • Its chocolate!

  • Its strawberry!

  • it's sex!

  • It's.... SUPERMAN!

  • nice looking card

  • nice
