I always like the ones where Edith stands up to him, she's usually so damn compliant even tho Archie does a lot stupid shit lol. Why was Archie was such a tyrant to Edith sometimes like giving her orders like they were in the military lol.

Archie and Edith have a relationship that I wouldn't want to have, but it works for them and it makes the show work so wonderfully. But Mike and Gloria (especially Gloria in this case) make me sick. They created this whole mess by not minding their own business and being so pompus and arrogant. They show total disrespect to their elders even though they're being totally supported by A&E. My Baby Boomer Generation has screwed up in soooooo many ways!

hahahaha, don't fall behind, mistermattmoose. On first glance, Archie is the pant-wearer - but underneath a few cleverly-veiled layers you'll find the real pant wearer...Edith. She loves her husband, that's why she obeys him, but when he pushes her too far she's a tyrant. And in the midst of these arguments, it's always Archie who crawls back to her. Jokes roll incessantly, but when things turn to a moment of seriousness, Archie knows his place...her equal, through and through.
