I've been having really good success with rushing to mutas, and building a bunch of sunkens before the roaches get to my base, they all die, as soon as muta pops you go kill their queen and drones, when hydras//mutas come out for them they will have much less because you've been building them much earlier.

If that fails, tech to ultras.

Why dont they have MBS and AUTOMINE as an option. If people want to play that way, let them. I personally think that MBS and AUTOMINE would help my play, because I am not that good. That is a majority of the people that blizzard is trying to appear to. This is a feature that is in most popular games, but it is an intresting feature to think about for their korean spamming market(no offence, they are intrested in it or they would not show APM, cuz most if APM is spam unfortunatly(warming up).

Early game APM is mostly spam because it is difficult to change speeds. Late early game, Mid and late game they are definitely using most of their APM effectively.

I also think Starcraft campaigns should have more heroes and specialities if that's one of you SC2 players's concerns. However, heroes and motherships in an RTS game? I don't think they should put wc with sc because people in the military play this and exercise strategies in the game like literally war zone.

Despite all of the criticism about Sc2, I think all the new things that's being put into he game WILL attract more players all age into playing because pro players are mostly under 25 years old because of their fast gestures and hand movements. The new UI and micromanagement will be a great help for players in the game both fighting and handling macro.

Banelings are going to quite cost effective against the Roach, able to deal 55 damage before they are taken down. Even when they are shot down, they still explode to deal that damage.

Though, I am afraid to say that a 7 Roach rush is possible due to Queen's new Spawn Larva ability, that would definitely put immense pressure on Zerg players who mass Zerglings often.

I think that depending on the tech of the queen (available after Spawning Pool, last I heard), the ability to create extra larvae at a hatchery is very strong.

That's the Zerg's economic advantage right there. Arguably, it'll allow you to get more drones out faster. So while it's not a constant eco boost like what the other races have, it could give you an economic headstart which translates into a long-term advantage.

the mutated larva can't produce drones atm...they can produce anything else but no drone. And it's an end game ability so by the time you get it you most likely don't need that many more drones.

The problem stands that while it does allow you to produce more unites, zerg unites aren't exactly cheap in sc2 so you need to have some ressources left.

The Mutant Larvae ability for the Queens were removed. Now the Queen's ability is to spawn an additional 4 larvae at a targeted Hatchery/Lair/Hive.

The strength of this is that it's basically an 'enhancement' to the existing Zerg advantage of being able to build a ton of a chosen unit all at once. Over time, being able to build more drones (even though they dont cost any less) will pay for itself, since you don't have to wait for larvae to spawn.
