He's very adamant of his resent and "superiority" over her early on since she is a clone that strayed from her original's path. He does grow to understand her motivations though as the story progresses.

Perhaps she does like Shiro and doesn't know it. We shall see how that dynamic plays out in the next few chapters! Now I feel like I should make a love triangle video...hmmm....
