this is one of my favorites of Tom Jones, what a Beautiful song and what a God gifted voice, thank you Mr Tom Jones for your gift of your voice to the world to enjoy for generations to come ! To me the Greates male voice of all times , Nobody comes close Nobody thank you !
Just want to thank you once again for allowing me to use this at my husbands funeral earlier this year. he fought the good fight and is at rest finally.
hallie6 .... hi can you also give me one copy... ill give it to my sister its her favorite songs... unfortunately she is now in bed diagnozed stage 4 breast cancer.
I have a CD made from this album of which I have. This is a great song. I will gladly make you a copy and send it to you. Please send me your address. I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I pray that she keeps strong.
tammarnie- this song is from an old vinyl LP titled 'Tom Jones' Fever Zone'.But to my best knowledge, its never been released on CD format. I wish it had been so I could buy it.
One of the greatest natural baritone voices of all time.He is also tremendously versatile. He can sing pop, rock, blues country western, ballads, etc. I have no doubt that had he had the proper training,he could have sung opera also. His voice is that strong and big.A great performer also and truly one of a kind. Thanks for posting.
You are so right about Opera. In fact on stage one time he did do just a little Opera, he was just being funny....but he did it well. I was there that night. He was great as always. I will be seeing him April the 17th I can not wait. I love Tom. He is the greatest.
Never heard this before, absolutly beautiful! As much as I like the happy, fun songs, the ballads are indeed where Tom's strength is. Magnificent!!! Thanks so much!!
WOW!!! had never heard this song before, what a voice, i love it. This man can definately sing and i thought only englebert could sing with power and passion, not anymore TJ you rock!!
Uhummm....Yeah! That's beyond argument!I've been listening to his songs, particularly this one since I was small..untill now..I could never get enough of it!
I've never heard this song, but wow, just wow. Tom corners the market on singing with passion. I can't say I've felt this way, either way, the deep dispair or the "I Know" part. WOW Tom! The way he sings makes want to "know"
He was my ery first concert..I was married and a mother of two...Late bloomer I guess..It was in Tarrytown, N.Y. He opened with " Let your love flow..I was in love, and all I eer wanted to be was a back-up singer for this great man..Can I sing ? NO WAY !!!!
Back in 70's and 80's I went to his show whenever he was in Reno/Tahow. Once, as I was waiting to go in, 3 little old ladies came out of the show. They were so pumped! I asked how he was...They replied, "Honey, we had forgotten they made men like that."
He was awesome. His voice is unbelievable. This video is GREAT! Thanks.
I agree LadyDy4TJ: I can't imagine that at all either. I don't even want to think about it. I almost his age and I hope he outlives me by many years. That's why I have promised myself to see him as many times as I can afford as long as I am here.
I agree with you tjonly. I have also promised myself to see him as often as I can. Life's short - enjoy it. We obviously agree that seeing and listening to Tom brings enjoyment to our lives. Here's to many, many more years of enjoyment!
I have been a Tom Jones fan for almost 40 years and I don't remember this song. This is beautiful, and I can't think of anyone else to sing this but Tom, it just proves that he is "the voice". The video is great also. Thank you TTJF.
I can tell which album it came from if you like. I have all of them. He has many gems like this in his albums that never got air time on radio stations. His sexy image, and standard hits aside, many of these obscure recordings buried deep in his albums showcase what a truly magnificent singer this man was in his prime, and still to this day.
i couldn't agree more...i barely listen to the so cold hits anymore...just listen to these more unknown songs...Probably the best popsinger the world has ever seen. Unbelievable power, great range.
I could not agree with you more wccoope. Many of Jones' best recordings are "buried" deep in his old albums. You said you have all his albums,do you have a rare one called"Tom Jones Live at the Talk of the Town"?On it,he has an absolutely wonderful rendition of"My Yiddische Momma".It exemplifies his huge baritone voice.
Yes, I have that album, and you are correct---"My Yiddische Momma" is a magnificent song. When he sings it you get the sense he is singing it to his own mom. That entire album is chock full of wonderful songs.
I have 12 of his albums. Two of which are 'Fever Zone," which this song is on and "Tom Jones live at the Talk of the Town". His voice has always been amazing to me. I just saw him in peron a week ago, and he still is amazing! What a voice, what a performer!
I have been a Tom Jones fan for almotst 40 years, but I don't remember this song. This is a beautiful song, and I can't think of anyone else who could sing it like Tom; this just proves that he is "the voice". I love it; the video is great also! Thanks so much TTJF.
You know, I think I sing this song pretty darn well. My point? I love the song. But nobody comes close to Tom Jones and HIS SONG. Loved it. Great video too. Thank you so much for the post. (Tommy isn't reading this, I am sure, but let me pretend -- Tom, buddy, DYNAMITE PERFORMANCE!)
TJF, thanks a lot for this very beautiful music of TJ. It's been a long time since I searched this through the internet. Thanks to you I heard it again.
This is classic Jones - the strength of which should alone place him safely within the pantheon of world's greatest pop singers. Listen to the range of sensitivity and power, how he caresses the lyrics and then gracefully shifts, soaring effortlessly with power, depth, timbre and resonance into the dramatic finale! This is singing of a rare order. A colossus of vocal talent, a giant, an artistic genius, this Tom Jones, fellow.
I couldn't have said it any better. My hope is that history will judge Jones not as a great pop singer but as a great vocalist. Unfortunately, all the years of sexual antics on and off stage have long overshadowed his incredible and inimitable talent. Hearing such performances as this should allow people to focus on what is quintessentially Tom Jones--his voice.

OMG! I have been looking for this song for years! I first heard on his old TV show when I was a kid and my Mom was CRAZY for Tom. This sounds just like he sang it then, soooooo much better than the original that was on the album she had. Perfection!
