@Sheri451 We usually call it soft drink. Or a drink. Everyone I know just says "I'm going to get a pepsi" or "I'm going to get a mountain dew". We just say what we're getting and get it.
@ngrockyjocky I live in the Southest, We usually call it a drink too, or a Pepsi.We have a lot of Northerners who moved here, thats why we sometimes use the term soda.

I always wondered when they put the twist top on sodas. What do you call them in Australia? We call them sodas, but some people call them pop.
