The reimagined 1930s setting is perfect for the story. I was lucky enough to see a screening at the London museum introduced by the producer and he explained they made this for a tenth of the budget of a comparable thriller in the USA, hence being loved by their distributor. All the locations were in and around London, notably St.Pancras Station used as the royal palace. And that all-guns blazing opening - richard Loncraine understands exactly what it's about and it's savage stuff.
Is this the play that they played at the Murray-Kean theatre in the 1700s? I wanted to act a scene of it out for my project but I don't know how I could.
I would like to thank you for putting this up! I have been wanting to see this movie again for some time. For my money its the best adaptation of the play out there.
@eminakawaii yea, Shakespeare wrote many plays about the anguish men suffer in private. Incidentally, Shakespeare killed himself in Cuba later in his life... oh wait. That's Hemingway.
@eminakawaii For the most part; with some modern language changes and a great deal of omissions from the original text. Needless to say, it's clear that Sir Ian McKellen is a master of his craft, creating a work of art from an existing masterpiece.
Come with me and be my love, And we will all the pleasures prove That hills and valleys, dales and fields And all the craggy mountains yields Come live with me and be my love CHORUS: There will I make you a bed of roses With a thousand fragrant posies If these pleasures may you move Live with me and be my love Come live with me and be my love
The shepherd-swains shall dance and sing For your delights each may morning If these delights your mind may move Then live with me and be my love Come live with me and be my love Come live with me and be my love And we will all the pleasures prove A belt of straw and ivy-buds with choral clasps and amber-studs Come live with me and be my love If that the world and love were young And truth in every shepherd's tongue These pretty pictures might me move To live with you and be your love
i need help, i need to watch the movie for my english controlled assestment where can i find the whole movie?
