@TheCeasarus For the record I was deployed in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan in 2008. I fought along side the PPCLI and multiple other Canadian units. I am proud that I could serve alongside brothers from another country. I was deployed when several of your soldiers died, as well as several American Marines. It isn't about the fucking governments and how stupid they are, it's about the bond soldiers have and the bonds we should have as neighbors who would fight and die for eachother

@joh13ansen Exactly. It is truly ridiculous. We have fought side by side for over 100 years, and all we do is hate on each other because of the bias crap some peoples parents, teachers, siblings, etc, pump into their heads.

I love Canada equally as much as the U.S. and would fight for both. I just think that people need to get over the hatred they have for one and others governments, and realize it's about the people, not the politicians.

the reason behind this is If your not deployable, you not empployable. recruiting moto of the Canadian Forces (full time anyway) i myself am in the military and its a good thing. in order to be efficient, either in the theatre of war or at your unit,you have to have no medical problems, as you will become a weight for your platoon/section, and wich may lead to more casualties.
