What are you guys talking about? Taylor wears dark smokey eyes very often. Rach's look seems very similar to the look Taylor wore to the Alexander McQueen 'Savage Beauty' Gala. It's really pretty.

@MyUsername156 No it doesn't, her makeup at that event was using browns, not blacks/greys. Taylor usually does a super neutral eye with thick black winged liner and a bold or natural lip. The eyes in this look are super dark compared to what Taylor usually does with her makeup. That isn't to say it's not a nice smokey eye. It's just not a look that would be considered "classic" Taylor Swift.

@LindsayLovesMac Yeeeah, but that was what her friend Nikki did in the "day" look. I think this is meant to be a more amped up look. I agree that it's not exactly a signature, but that's not to say that Taylor doesn't wear something similar occasionally. Like at her perfume launch.

I looked up some of Taylor's close up pics, and I'll be honest, this seems to miss the mark. She wears more bronze smokey eyes with emphasis on black winged eyeliner and long lashes (in reference to her appearance at an Alexander McQueen event in New York). While this is still a legit evening eye, I personally wouldn't equate it with Taylor Swift's style. I love you Rach, so please understand this is just constructive criticism - I almost always have positive things to say about ur vids :)

@ameliodaman whilst I agree that this is a lot darker than looks i've seen on taylor, she probably does wear a comparable amount of makeup to this, just in lighter eyeshadow colours. even when she looks "natural" she's still wearing a ton of makeup, she's being photographed. this is also meant to be an inspired look for EVENING, not daytime, nor is it supposed to be exact.
