John, if you read this...coming from a fan standpoint...Kyuss is something very special in rock and roll. It's untouched by the mainstream...you aren't riding on it's coatails...you helped create it! I hope you've changed your mind and feel more comfortable with Kyuss now that you've done some touring. I hope you guys stay for good because you inspire the hell out of me every single day going to my shitty job. You express things that live inside of me that I wouldn't dare preach to the world.

Seriously? Into the Void? I've always thought that the Kyuss version was fucking nailed! I love it, right up there with Soundgarden's version, in the ultra-killer stratosphere of hard rock and metal tributes.
I saw the Berlin concert with Brant, was awesome seeing him torture the cymbals on "Green Machine". I have to say i was surprised how many songs really worked. Only they should not have tried "El Rodeo" there is just too much Josh in it, it didnt deliver without his gentle vibrato and all his style.
@gramoukdoom I seen them at Hellfest as well! Mind blowingly good! Was really hoping Homme would turn up for a full reuinion considering I heard he was in Paris for three days with "nothing to do", but oh well. Shame they weren't allowed an encore, either :(
yeah there a big debate on weather kyuss should reunite or not, well they are going to as you might know but without homme. I can understand his point of view. But yeah at leat for 5 songs he coulda moved his ass to hell fucking fest instead of playing mainstream fests, he can be a pretentious douche sometimes.
I actually fucking love the vocals on Kyuss' version of Into the Void.....maybe more then the original....think it's the only cover I feel that way about.... :O
he sounds a lil like what josh calls in some of his interviews, "a cranky old musician". not accusing, just saying from what i see in this video. and i don't think his vocals sucked that bad in a lotta kyuss songs.
