Is it hard to become a seabee? What score do you have to get on the asvab test? Is it worth going into the seabees? What kind of math do they use? Do I need to know a lot of math or science?

I went to this training in 2010. Worst training i have been to. It had potential to be a great training but in needed more structure and leadership. Dont get me wrong, there were great people there, but the leadership skills were lacking.

@smgblack Yes, i am a leauge cadet with 3 years under me L-P03 i went to my field op there... they have blanks but still its very real feeling. Now im planning to go back as a seacadet.

@smgblack No we do Not Im the CPO of the Unit we do not use blanks but we offer a martial arts portion of the training led by a Marine who is Proficient in 3 martial arts and a black belt in Muay thai which is one of the more deadly Marial arts. We also have Rigorous Standars to live up to. We may do a live fire and we do a lot of night ops with People from Force Reacon, Army infantry specialist and marines who have been on three tours. So come over if you want a challenge

I am in the Sea Cadets and I can't wait to go to Seabees this summer. I had several cadets from my division go to this and they said it really good.

The Seabees are open to anybody who enlists. You must be 17-34 to enlist in the Navy and you can get it guaranteed in your contract, so you can go to a Seabee A School when you're E1 (fresh out of boot camp)
