  • are those plastic pedals?

  • @PS3BlackOpsPwnage Yes but they were pretty good for cheap pedals...

  • I have Flash 1 alloy 2011. The dropout bit and the rear triangle have changed in 2011 in frame. The tubing now replicates the carbon flash.

  • I know nothing about RST, are these forks good, i have dart 3s atm?

  • Very nice. I just ordered a 2011 SL 3, in white.

Looks to be very similar to the 2010 F4.

  • is the F4 better then the F5? is it the smaller the number the better?

  • @tuanhoang Yes. F4 had better components. Frames (F4 & F5) are the same though, just the paintings are different :)

  • awesome bike! that front shock... you should make a video showing how low it can go. i got model 2006 f400 with headshock, but your bike looks amazing!

  • The SL is better equipped than the f4

  • how r the fork and brakes working?

  • @quadzilla60 Brake performance is almost like the Avid Juicy 3, with little less modulation. And the fork IMO is a little better than my RS Tora

  • is this bike called the sl in europe as apposed to the f4 in the us?im buying the trail sl 2 in two weeks time and i've seen similar if not identical f series on the net.f or sl still cool bikes whichever way.

  • @kktubey The frames are exactly the same

  • My dream bike right now(out of the ones I can afford).

Could you tell me what is the frame size of this bike and how tall are you?

    Do you like the fit?

    Thanks

  • @segans

Frame size is Medium. I'm 5'7" and the bike fits me very well, with the default components. I recommend a Bike Fit before buying your bike :)

  • @segans

The F4 and F5 have the same frame, the F5 has worse components and different colors

  • I noticed no Handmade in the USA on the bike anywhere. Is that frame made in Taiwan?

  • Yes it is :(

  • oh,i guess i cant do that with the f5???

  • Yes you can...my mistake I was confusing F5 with F7

  • how do you like your bike? Im thinking of buying it and getting back into trail riding

  • Im very happy with it so far...It's a very good choice for light trail riding

  • i have the same bike and love it.what kind of riding do you do with yours?

  • Mostly fireroads and some commuting. Its been flawless so far :)

  • nice,i thinking about getting the f5

  • If you want to upgrade your fork to a Lefty, I recommend the F4 :)
