WOW. Here in Canada we do see flooding, but not to that extent. It would be fun to see these natural events in person, and perhaps surf in the water, but I wouldn't dare drive my car in that terrain of knee deep water.
I'm from England, but lived in Clear lake City for 7 years back in the 90's. Friendliest people in the world in your neck of the woods! Had my bank in League City and travelled to it 2-3 times a week, often driving down the side roads of LC checking out the area for a house! :)
It looks like alot of us from Texas on this same day decided to take a video of the rain that day. It was either because we have forgotten what it looked like or it was because there was just so much of it. lol
was this the april 2009 rain?? i used to let my son do that to run in the knee deep rain until he got bit by a snake that washed in

omg this still isnt as bad as my house we had 5ft. of water in the middle of the street lol but it didnt get in the house
