this was a favorite hymn of a dear friend. as a young girl she played for her Methodist Church for a while. they sang this hymn every other week because she loved it so. i reminded her children to play it for their mom at her funeral several years ago.
Thank you for the post. I haven't heard this sung in years and only get to hear it when I play it on the piano at home. It is a great hymn of encouragement that has regrettably become lost in the venue of most church services and Christian radio. Very nice acapella section.
Beautifully done, & a beautiful old hymn.. Thanks for posting it.. My sons & I use to do this old hymn... Recently my daughter in law found it, & posted it here in you tube.. I have it in my favorites... Again,,, thanks for posting this video... I guess, what ever you grow up with, becomes you're favorites... Or at least, that's the way it is, in my case...
