  • i'm 5'7. 25 2-step vertical. 22 standing. 27ish running. i wanna increase 7 or more inches. hopefully in 12 weeks. i'm a vball player so shiit i need hops. just started my strain this week.

  • @jthaoz cool man! good luck with your training!

  • @myjumpmanual j/w so basically you gained 2 inches every 3 weeks? some video of other people gained like 2-5 inch in a week or 2. some didn't gain any.

  • @jthaoz yeah...the results you get depend on how hard you work. how consistent you are. i think many guys give up after 1 week or 2 weeks because they aren't willing to pay the price. vertical jump gains don't happen overnight. takes weeks and sometimes months to get significant gains. keep workin hard and the results will come!

  • @myjumpmanual Lol u can say that again i quitted after 2 weeks but i'm back on it. gonna keep doing it until i can grab rim.

  • @jthaoz awesome man! go get it! if you follow the program, you will get solid results. let me know how it goes!

  • @myjumpmanual Lol i was one of them i quitted after 2 weeks. but this time imma do it. my goal is to grab rim.

  • this might seem like a stupid question, but when u say "reach" is 7'9", u mean the reach when u are fully stretched on ur toes and hand outstretched(without jumping) or do u mean, after jumping u can get upto 7'9"

Its really confusing and I need to know, thnx

  • @ShadyMVP reach is how far you can touch standing flat footed when you reach up with one hand as high as you can. in order to figure out your vertical, you need to know what your reach is. for example, let's say your reach is 7'6" (90 inches). If you jump up and touch the rim, that means you just jumped 30 inches (120 inches - 90 inches = 30 inches)

  • alright, i just turned 13 a few days ago.. im 5'10 and have a 25 inch vertical. im about a good 8 inches from dunking. what can i do to jump higher and be able to dunk in 8th grade next year?

  • @PatrickM237 25" vert at 13 years old is really good! i really like the jump manual so you may want to check it out. the main thing is you need to do exercises that will help you get stronger and faster like squats, deadlifts, depth jumps, lunge jumps, etc. but, you should talk to your coach, parent, trainer, etc. and get some advice especially before doing squats and deadlifts. i have quite a bit of info on my blog (link is in the video description) as well. good luck man!

  • do you have to drink protin?? do they have an another alternative?

  • @loverboyy1000 you don't have to drink protein shakes -- they are just very convenient. you can also eat tuna, chicken, fish, beef, and other good sources of protein after your workouts

  • WOWWW you have no idea how much you have inspired me, i just watched all your videos, i´m 30 years old but out of shape, i always wanted to dunk the ball back in the day but i had to retire from basketball because of my work, there are so many things that i haven´t completed in my life and dunking the ball is one of them, i thought it would be impossible because of my age but man, your vids are NASTY!!

I´m 6 feet tall and 200 pounds , i haven´t play in about 5 years but i want to do it again!!

  • @twingo16V hey thanks man! i really appreciate your comments! put in the work and you can totally do it man! good luck and keep me posted!

  • @myjumpmanual No man, thank you, for real!! What about injuries? pains? i´m kind of worry of my knees specially since they are starting to hurt a little bit, jump manual isn´t tough for them? i tried air alert once and i had to stop because it gave me a lot of pain on my knees and ankles

  • @twingo16V i've heard a lot of people say that about air alert. but, i've never done that program so can't really say. as far as jump manual goes, i think its helped me a ton with avoiding injuries because i've gotten stronger and more flexible. jump manual is really big on rest too and making sure you don't overtrain. your muscles get stronger when you rest/recover not when you are working out. i think as long as you perform the exercises correctly, eat right, etc. you will be fine.

  • coool

  • thats not embarrising. whats embarrising is being 6'4" and not being able to grab rim..

  • @rhimes11 you can change that pretty quickly if you start training. lots of good programs out there including the jump manual.

  • Can you please send me this program ? I'm 16 and my height is 5'9 i wanna dunk during a game, my first school basketball game is in January will i be able to dunk if you send me the program by then ?

  • @TaylorGangOrDieeeeee that is a great goal to have. work hard and you can do it. i can't send you the program though.

  • first off congrats on your gains!! this has convinced me that it works. secondly, would it be a lil hard to ask if you can send me this program? thank you in advanced :)

  • @flippyfloppy03 thanks man! it is a great program. sorry though, i can't send it to you.

  • I think you need a lil more than 8 inches to dunk. I'm 5'10 and I can get 8 inches over the rim but still can't dunk because I can't palm the ball as well. To get a pretty solid dunk I think you need 6-8 inches past your wrist above the rim so your forearm needs to hit the rim. I mean you COULD probably dunk with 8 inches over the rim which is about where your wrist will be at but it won't look good at all.

  • @Thanhphong i'm getting my wrist to the rim and am getting some dunks. but, your right they don't look very good! i just started my 2nd round of jump manual in conjunction with freak jump technique program and hoping to get another 6 inches so dunking gets really easy. watch my video called Vertical Jump Test - after 12 weeks and you will see a few weak dunks.

  • hello i picked up the jump manual and i can't find the Vertical tests. Did you make your own test or did the manual provide them? Thanks and congrats on dunking!!!

  • @BJelksqa i just made my own tests by figuring out my reach and then see how i could get in relation to the rim.

    good luck with your training!

  • how tall are u nd that rim?

  • @dominicaquino22 i'm 5'11". the rim is 10 feet. i've posted several videos after this one showing my progress since i started the jump manual if your interested. thanks!

  • @myjumpmanual u have very good hops from day 1. im 5'9 or 5'10 nd i can only touch rim of running one leg. i also did jump manual but i kept getting injured from playing basketball, i was thinking about doing it again since im not planning on trying out for varsity this year. i will be a junior

  • @dominicaquino22 injuries suck! but, don't give up. keep going man!
