I really loved watching these episodes. I wish all gay themed story lines would end like this if the characters were leaving or the show was ending. I did not like what the writers did to Edwin. Lucas and Edwin were characters on a gay themed story line on a Dutch T.V. show named Good Times and Bad Times. Right now on the show Bad Times fits it well.

Wow. When I started watching this, I was just bored and had nothing to do. I started with Max & Enric and finished with Max & Iago. First soap I have ever seen (not counting the ones on Telemundo) that I was interested in. I love this couple and the actors are fantastic. The things free time does to me! :)

I used to watch it, and then stopped.. and I now decided to go back and watch their whole story, but I didnt want to if I was gonna get invested in them and have it turn out bad = P. Good bit of writing to close the circle with Max saying "No podem tenir por" / "We can't be afraid", an echo of 6 years ago when Quim told him "No tinguis por" / "Don't be afraid", a theme which Max has brought up periodically ever since. It was that advice which gave Max the courage to accept his homosexuality and to be himself and live his life, and hopefully this same advice will set up Max and Iago for their life together in Mozambique.
I'm so happy that Max and Iago are now together living happily ever after in Mozambique. I will really miss them. Thank you evama for sharing with us this lovely and inspirational story :-) moltes gràcies

I understand the loneliness that both Max and Lago bore much of the show. I understood when both believed that happiness was never to be for them. 1.) Sad that Iago left. Now he will never be able to return, which is sad b/c he has lots of friends & family (Beni).
2.) Sad that they made him break his promise to his mother again. They should have just let him get off (there was no evidence, plus no charges actually filed-- who would report stolen stolen jewels?) & then have him leave with Max so that they could return for Christmas one year or something.

It had a lot of good lovey-dovey scenes & that was definitely a plus & something that I wished there could have been more of, but I would have liked a little more storyline with them together & a whole hell of a lot less BRAT & DOUCHE.

They had been together, officially :), for about 8 months (episode 1503 Jan 15 2008 to episode 1633 Sep 19 2008) before Max left. Max had been gone an entire year! before returning for Clara's funeral (episode 1832 Sep 7 2009). And it's been nearly a year since we saw Max and Iago getting ready to board that plane to Mozambique and start their life anew (episode 1845 Sep 25 2009).
I miss them so much. Thanks to Eva, though, they'll never really be gone. :)

i had decided to start learning spanish by the end of this year....but now i am hooked up to Catalan....wonderful translations as well, buddies, your translations really brought the essence of Catalan language and culture, i believe....a job well done....keep it up.

Finally saw the clips and I really enjoyed this storyline. Toward the end though, was it shown onscreen when Iago left Beni's flat to live with Gonzalo and Iago and Gonzalo officially became a couple? There seems to be a big gap in between the episodes soon after Abel leaves and when Max returns.
Thank you so much for all the hard work to make this great story accessible to a wider non-Catalan audience. It's an impressively big effort translating and editing all of this and is very much appreciated.

For those of you who want more of Max, the El Cor website (google El Cor TV3) has every episode on there, and after 134 installments in this series, you should have picked up enough to follow the gist. Max makes his 1st appearance in episode 44, and it s fair to say its a real roller-coaster ride.

The I find Lago in Vaquero, FoQ (Física o Química) was this before or after Max and has the story of the Two best love story ever. finished or will they return to their Spanish home for Beni's wedding & get captured or will they swim and dodge crabs on golden sands. I'm so sad I'm going into depression. after watching hours of their love story over last few weeks.
Lago is my No 2 after Christian and before Oliver fish.
I had seen some of this when in Spain and it stirred so much debate and news of the day. Lago has taken us on an emotional journey like the puppy dog who wanted to find a good home, companion and be loved. His life was ripped apart and he wasn't going back to his bad ways but the conclusion I like for what price justice if you have changed and never get the chance to be free. But had to turn his back on the law and conclude a best soap and a great actor, totally convincing was most of cast.

pintoaag, the song at the end is called "Llàgrimes" and it was written just for the show, so I don't think it can be found anywhere to download...but who knows. :)
*sighs* That was nice... Just as nice as it was seeing Craig and JP leaving on the train to Dublin. Shame that now I have to find another awesome love story to follow. Christian and Ollie are still the best, but the writers have left them kind on the side for some time now.

Good bit of writing to close the circle with Max saying "No podem tenir por" / "We can't be afraid", an echo of 6 years ago when Quim told him "No tinguis por" / "Don't be afraid", a theme which Max has brought up periodically ever since. It was that advice which gave Max the courage to accept his homosexuality and to be himself and live his life, and hopefully this same advice will set up Max and Iago for their life together in Mozambique.

love this so much, but hate that it had to end. does anyone know where i can watch Max's story line from the beginning (with english translations), cause on youtube i can only find bits and pieces of his story, and the only consecutive ones are the stories with enric, and iago... so any website where i can find max's story from the begging would be muchly appreciated :)

Thanks and Gracias. I loved the story, as it had me crying and yelling and laughing. I loved Max and I loved Lago, but so much of the story was almost unbearably sad or Trieste. I understand the loneliness that both Max and Lago bore much of the show. I understood when both believed that happiness was never to be for them. 1.) Sad that Iago left. Now he will never be able to return, which is sad b/c he has lots of friends & family (Beni).
2.) Sad that they made him break his promise to his mother again. They should have just let him get off (there was no evidence, plus no charges actually filed-- who would report stolen stolen jewels?) & then have him leave with Max so that they could return for Christmas one year or something.

@miraam2012 3.) I thought that Max & Iago had some chemistry & I like that they got to kiss & hug & lay in bed together (I am looking at YOU ATWT), but I gotta say that this is the worst of all my gay love stories & I love them all.
It had a lot of good lovey-dovey scenes & that was definitely a plus & something that I wished there could have been more of, but I would have liked a little more storyline with them together & a whole hell of a lot less BRAT & DOUCHE.

Thank you SO SO much for posting this story! I loved the whole thing - especially Max and Iago - and am so happy it ended with them flying off together. I was in tears at the end - partly because I hate to say goodbye - have enjoyed learning a little Catalan along the way, too! These guys are amazing actors - I hope they go on to more wonderful shows - Moltes gracies!

They had been together, officially :), for about 8 months (episode 1503 Jan 15 2008 to episode 1633 Sep 19 2008) before Max left. Max had been gone an entire year! before returning for Clara's funeral (episode 1832 Sep 7 2009). And it's been nearly a year since we saw Max and Iago getting ready to board that plane to Mozambique and start their life anew (episode 1845 Sep 25 2009).
I miss them so much. Thanks to Eva, though, they'll never really be gone. :)

wow...that was a nice story....i am happy to see Max & Iago together, but wud have rather loved to see them together with Beni....he has put in a lot of effort for the young couple.
i had decided to start learning spanish by the end of this year....but now i am hooked up to Catalan....wonderful translations as well, buddies, your translations really brought the essence of Catalan language and culture, i believe....a job well done....keep it up.

Finally saw the clips and I really enjoyed this storyline. Toward the end though, was it shown onscreen when Iago left Beni's flat to live with Gonzalo and Iago and Gonzalo officially became a couple? There seems to be a big gap in between the episodes soon after Abel leaves and when Max returns.

Great ending, although I would have love to see them in Mozambique together... but I guess filming in a foreign country its always an expensive deal... Anyway thanks a lot to everyone involved either in the soapopera itself or in the uploading and translation of this selection of scenes. Hopefully one day I´ll be able to watch the entire El Cor de la Ciutat... but for now this was plenty.

Great job by Eva and all the translators to bring us this fantastic story - Moltes gracies per tot. For those of you who want more of Max, the El Cor website (google El Cor TV3) has every episode on there, and after 134 installments in this series, you should have picked up enough to follow the gist. Max makes his 1st appearance in episode 44, and it s fair to say its a real roller-coaster ride.

The I find Lago in Vaquero, FoQ (Física o Química) was this before or after Max and has the story of the Two best love story ever. finished or will they return to their Spanish home for Beni's wedding & get captured or will they swim and dodge crabs on golden sands. I'm so sad I'm going into depression. after watching hours of their love story over last few weeks.
Lago is my No 2 after Christian and before Oliver fish.

I had seen some of this when in Spain and it stirred so much debate and news of the day. Lago has taken us on an emotional journey like the puppy dog who wanted to find a good home, companion and be loved. His life was ripped apart and he wasn't going back to his bad ways but the conclusion I like for what price justice if you have changed and never get the chance to be free. But had to turn his back on the law and conclude a best soap and a great actor, totally convincing was most of cast.

pintoaag, the song at the end is called "Llàgrimes" and it was written just for the show, so I don't think it can be found anywhere to download...but who knows. :)
