Great production!! Joe Satriani really did their sound justice when they released Eyes of Horror. This is how Seven Churches should have been produced. Imagine The Exorcist, Pentagram, Satan's Curse; etc. with this production?

@p4horror I like the production on this. For something such as Seven Churches, the quality may not have been over-the-top, but in my opinion I prefer the lo-fi quality of Seven Churches. Sounds harsher, and more chaotic. This is great, but doesn't deliver the driving force and raw aggression Seven Churches did. That's just what I think.

Thrash or death? Of course it is early death metal. Listen to cool Megadeth, riffkiller Overkill, brutalgerman Kreator, merciless Slayer, deadly Slaughter or "meow-meow" Anthrax, you will hear the difference. Influence is clear by all the underground death metal hordes.

This song has got to be the song with the best-written lyrics ever. Ok, I know that technically, since I don't have knowledge of all the lyrics of all the songs ever written, I have no arguments to make an informed decision but still... I maintain my thesis:-D... can't go wrong with killing the conformist pigs... kill them, kill'em all... I should probably shut up now, I'm beginning to even annoy myself.

On a more serious note, this really is one of my favourite songs. Respect for Possessed.

Yeh oldschool is right. Before Possessed there was no one else doing vocals like this. They ushered something in that no one ever did before. They also recorded seven churchs on easter break when they were 15. They are awesome.
